First time visiting here, was recommended it by a friend. Ordered the creamy mushrooms with a poached egg plus a long black, didn’t find the guy behind the counter overly friendly but the waitress was excellent. Food was delicious, a good serving size and both taste and presentation was on point. It’s always nice to be acknowledged when you leave too, I got a stare from the same guy but no thank you or anything. Other than that it was excellent

Franks Eatery is our favourite local haunt. The staff are awesome, the food NEVER disappoints, and they are happy to have laptop workers do their thing whilst enjoying their great coffee. Well done Franks... a superb example of how a cafe should be.

I discovered this delightful little eatery while staying at the Holiday Inn. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the fries are the best. However, what truly sets them apart are their burgers—they are simply delicious. Call in after 6pm for half price pastries which are ideal for lunch the next day.

The lady who took our order was very unfriendly and borderline rude, did not make us feel welcome - maybe she was having a bad day but shouldn’t let that affect customers. We made a couple of simple requests and food arrived with those ignored. When we said they just looked at us blankly and suggested we had to reorder at our cost. Wouldn’t go back.

Called for lunch. No one offered to seat us as the sign said"wait to be seated, found a table in the sun. The menue looked grubby and dog eared as did the restaurant. Eventually, we discovered there were no longer table orders taken, so off up to the counter only to be told the meal we wanted to order was no longer available. We left.

Smash Burger and Fries
burger made from poorly cooked commercial pre-formed frozen patties.
Bun dry and heavy brichoch. This is so far away from a smash burger it’s embarrassing. Fries an hour old - dry and lifeless

We had blue cod and salad thinking a nice bit of blue cod would be nice but what came out was some small pieces of fried blue cod with small bits of salad on tapa bread I think but wasn't very appetizing I'm sure there are better things on the menu but this wasn't one of them. The staff was attentive and friendly but the food was just average you didn't know whether to pick it up or eat it with a knife and fork. They checked your vaccine pass on arrival which was great but wearing a mask was not enforced, most places and people in the south island are complacent with covid rules. I wouldn't eat here again..

My partner and I visited for a Sunday roast as we had heard about Frank’s great reputation as a brunch spot.
The roast dinner was one of the worst meals we have ever eaten out. The food was tasteless, sloppy, all lukewarm and microwaved. You couldn’t tell the difference between and of chosen sides. There were no Brussel sprouts which we chose as one of the options, and my vegetarian dinner had bacon in.
The waitresses were really nice and took my meal of the bill - I know the food is no fault of there’s. However, we would not recommend for anyone to eat here for Sunday dinner and will not be returning.

Went for lunch with my partner, ordered food and a couple of coffees, 1 of the mugs had lipstick around the mug so mentioned it to the waitress and she said she would get a fresh one no worries and apologized. Heard the guy making the coffee swear from our seat outside so clearly he was annoyed by it.... 15 mins later we've got our food, the waitress has finished work, the guy who made the lipstick mugged coffee has finished work as we saw both leave. So i went to ask about the coffee, the manager didn't know anything about it and didn't seem that interested said he'll do it straight away, finally a different staff member brought the coffee over and explained what happened and was polite enough. Came to pay at the end and the manager was at the till, and not even an apology or anything from him or even an offer to give the coffee for free, very disappointing so ended up leaving unsatisfied after a friend recommended this place to us, and will not be returning

This has become a firm favorite Cafe with my friends the staff are all amazing, friendly and always willing to go the extra mile. And the food! I've just had the Coconut Mango smoothie bowl. Delicious. I can recommend almost anything on the menu I've been here so often! The Birds Nest or open omelette are divine. If there was one thing I could suggest, that would be to have cheaper wine options for those on more of a budget although the wine list is very impressive!

We went here for breakfast and loved it so much we went back again on Sunday. Friendly and efficient staff. Extensive menu and food was delicious! They were pretty busy Sunday but we were seated with minimal fuss and drinks and food came soon after. Will be back again next time we are in Queenstown. Thank you!

Some Café, the menu was comprehensive and presentation of the food was amazing only to discover on every bite that taste was even better the it looked.
We dinned here most days we were in town

This is our favourite local spot for breakfast. Lovely team, beautiful fresh food. A special mention to Gonzalo (apologies if I have spelt that incorrectly?).. I made a mistake when ordering my breakfast this morning and although it was 100% my error he fixed it with no issue and no additional charge. Thank you much appreciated.

Paid $28 for a tiny breakfast sandwich. Ordered the ‘Einstein’ with an extra egg and was expecting a substantial breakfast. What arrived was a pitiful sandwich and when I brought it to the cashier’s attention, she chuckled and said “A lot of people make that mistake.”

I absolutely love this place for breakfast. I’ve come here twice in the last two weeks it’s that good. Mimosas are bangin 11/10. Menu has many options for every kind of eater which I absolutely love. I think the best thing is the creamy mushrooms you can get on the “Make Your Own Plate” Staff are always friendly. There’s a lovely outdoor bit to sit in the sun. Will keep on coming back for breakfast & recommending to people 🥰
