Came for an evening meal. The menu is almost exclusively for meat eaters, vegetarians have very few options and no main dishes to choose from, nor any fish dishes. However the baked peppers and later the boletus mushrooms were very good. My starter was a...tasty salad with local ham. The main courses were brought out while we were in the middle of the starters which was inattentive of the staff, but the sirloin steak and the local sausages were absolutely excellent - succulent and wonderfully tender. The staff did their best to bridge the cultural divide, clearly most customers are Spanish with a few French visitors. They did produce a menu in english but the translations were misleading. The scrambled eggs turned out to be fried so be prepared for surprises. The local wine was excellent and cheap at 11€ for a bottle. The staff sensed they had displeased us and made up for it with a free home made sloe liqueur which went down a treat. We hadn't reserved so had to est inside, reserve to get a table on the terrace and you will be rewarded with a more pleasant experience. The car parking is right next to the hotel up a very steep incline, large cars will have a squeeze through the very narrow street to get there. To sum up: great place for steak lovers who aren't fussed by erratic service. Our bill was 91€ for three with starters, mains, deserts, water, wine and a coffee. Not cheap but worth it.More

The restaurant is specialized in BBQ en that's what you have to take there. The meat was delicious and just as we asked. A must-visit for this region!

The food was good but the view was even better! Balcon del Pirineo is a casual restaurant with outdoor seating overlooking the mountains (hence the name). We had a big meal of huevos rotos con trufa, roasted red peppers, a salad and some wonderful beef...plus a bottle of wine and dessert for about 30 euros/person. It was very busy the day so service was a little slow, but the view made up for it! A great place to fuel up after a hike, especially if you want to eat outside.More

The menu was very limited to both meat eaters and Vegies. Not much on the menu. I asked for a meat dish and they didn't have it, was very empty and only one couple there, which was very strange not to have a dish. Service...was alright, could of been better. Great location but the downside to it was the price of the dished, there is another restaurant with more on there menu and better meat offer and better for value. Need to know, leave a message and will answer.More
