Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fantastic cafe away from busy Apia. They have good coffee, nice pancakes, their prices are a bit cheaper than other cafes in town.

We arrived officially after service was finished but the delightful and witty owner was more than accommodating in serving us a late lunch. We order wiener schnitzel, chips and salad with gravy. The owner apologised as the kitchen had run out of the usual gravy,...so they made us a quick mock-up replacement. No need to apologise, it was delicious. Great value meal and personalised service fro the owner.More

Busy Saturday morning at work and the chicken salad was just what was needed. The chicken and chips looked awesome, too. Really friendly service (even though we arrived very close to closing time on a Saturday). In Samoa till September so will be back. I...think I left my Rotorua Singlespeed Sociey cap there, so will have to! :)More

We did takeaway for lunch to eat at home. The food was acceptable and the prices are reasonable. Many items weren't available. An additional charge of $0.50 tala per item for takeaway order.

This place was so quirky and cool. loved it! Had ice coffee which was great. They have stopped using straws so this was a major plus to see them caring for the environment a little bit. situated in Vaitele so just out of Apia. We...would come here after our crossfit session across the road. air con which was good but nearly too good i started to get cold hahaMore

Always my favourite place to go for some proper sit-down to enjoy their fresh fish & chips meal. I'd take the drive all the way from Malifa to get to this place, only for a nice fish & chips meal and it's all worth it!

our coffee club usually catch up for breakfast and Kofe Haus is one of the many places we frequent throughout the year. Good food and affordable prices and good barrister local coffee (for those who indulge) are always to be had. It is a little...out of town so plenty of parking and not so crowded. always worth a short drive out.More

According to an article in the local paper, Kofe Haus is a family run business and GoogleMaps locates it on the corner of Vaitele Street and Ififi Streets. I first set off walking to find it (apparently 12 minutes by foot) but 35 minutes later...and hot and tired, no-one at the junction of those two streets had ever heard of it. I then drove around in a cab for quite some time with no better success. Finally, I found their number and called and got directions. (For visitors to Apia, tell your cab-driver that it is near Yazaki equipment supplier and Farmer Joe's supermarket in Vaitele village, not Vaitele Street!). It was well worth the effort. The coffee shop is located in a peaceful area outside of the usual tourist spots. They serve a very fine, easy, smooth tasting coffee that apparently is grown in the Laloanea highland region of Upolu island. I had a slice of lemon cake - hand-baked, light as a feather and yummy! They also had more substantial dishes on the menu. If you're looking for a place for coffee, brunch or lunch, this little gem is well worth the drive.More
