We arrived at Jamming Goat after a long drive under heavy rainfall, navigating our way to the restaurant through the rain-soaked Utorda beach.
We were welcomed by the courteous staff who offered us warm towels and a few drinks, to begin with. Every single dish which we went on to order was absolutely delicious and was beautifully presented. The cocktails made at the bar were creatively crafted and the ambience of the place was absolutely wonderful.
After a delicious meal, the restaurant staff insisted that we try some dessert on the house and helped us get back to our car under the heavy rain, making for an absolutely wonderful time, that made us return with some more friends a few days later.

We were staying at the Royal Orchid and Jamming goat is just next door. We walked into Jamming Goat expecting shack level food - generally very oily with no subtleness in flavors. However, the whole set changed as we entered the place.
Jamming Goat has a very nice soft vibe with good taste in music. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable of the menu and guests needs. The menu is quite unique and well balanced with various cuisines and of course a overdose of cocktails. We tried several items off the menu and all of them were served with great class and the taste was really outstanding. One dish which stood out
due to its uniqueness of the prawns with curd rice foam, this is recommended.
All the cocktails were really well done. I think these were one of the best I have had in some time. The mixologist there has some skill and finesse in preparation as well as presentation.
Overall a highly recommended place when you want to have an easy evening with friends and family.

Jamming Goat is a relatively new restaurant which opened last year. A couple of friends recommended the place so we thought we would give it a try last Sunday
The slow walk in the sand and then a rickety wooden bridge gave us time to contemplate the purple signage featuring a Goat’s head wearing glasses signaling our arrival at the restaurant which comprised of small tables under the shade of casuarina trees. We chose a table with a beautiful view of the sea and enjoyed the cool breeze before it would turn warm in the late afternoon.
We started off with cocktails (320), the ‘Not a G & T’ was a wonderful take on the original, chilled and citrusy just the kind to beat the heat while the 1986 with its dynamite pairing of Vodka and Jalapeno peppers is a drink worth trying out for its sheer audacity-Brilliant.
We decided that we would rather prefer to have starters than venture onto the mains
Firstly, we had the Bacon wrapped Sausages (325) accompanied by a wonderful olive tapenade. A great dish to whet your appetite.
Next, we had the Patiala Fish tikka (365). Succulent pieces of Sea Bass marinated in a wonderful mustard sauce which left us wanting more.
We followed that up with Lamb Boti Skewers (375) which were the most tender cuts of lamb I have ever partaken of in a restaurant, marinated with a rich creamy sauce.
Lastly, we ordered the crispy Chicken wings (295) which were deep fried to perfection without being oily. The wings were sprinkled with a tangy and spicy dust and placed on a bed of crisps. Tantalizing stuff this.
We rounded up our meal with the Saffron Tres Leches (275), which was truly heavenly and the piece-de-resistance of a wonderful afternoon at the Jamming Goat.
Highly recommended for their great tasting food and refreshing cocktails.

We go where we feel welcome. It is as simple as that. This place is warm, staff is courteous and prompt, the owner is hands-on, and service is taken seriously. The vibe is that of an understated lounge - classy without curbing on comfort. The food is refreshingly different without being over the top and pretentious like most places that try to put their own spin on things these days. The entertainment on Sunday night was a soothing array of feel good harmonies from 'Trilogy', an upcoming trio of versatile young musicians lighting up the atmosphere with trendy sounds from instruments as nuanced as mouth organs, bar chimes and cajones! This is my new favorite place to unwind.

I visited this restaurant during my last trip to Goa, and the location was fantastic. Since it was the off-season, nearly all the shacks at Utorda Beach were closed, leaving this as the only open option. Although we didn’t have much choice, I noticed that the menu was pricier than other shacks with similar offerings in Goa. The service was also slow, possibly due to fewer staff handling a larger crowd. It felt like they were taking advantage of their monopoly at the time, which gave me mixed feelings about the experience.

The only beach shack in Utorda opened from 12 noon to 12 midnight, serving alcohol, food and music. The staff were extremely polite and welcoming to diners. We had a bottle of Kingfisher beer and chicken momos. Service quick. The place is pet friendly, some stay dogs had found a home here were seen roaming freely. Opened in 2020, the place saw a dip in business with Covid 19, but is expected to pick up now that the restrictions have been lifted. An enjoyable place and.must visit if you are in North Goa.

Food was expensive for what it was. Warm beer whith no choice. Paying more for drinks in a beach shack than a five star resort also Poor glass ware . Toilet not clean and unsafe. Not worth the money or effort. Much better options available near by !

Our group of 10 visited this gem and had a wonderful experience. Service was attentive, cocktails creative, and food well executed.
Highly recommend the Not G&T, shrimp tempura, chicken tacos, and mushroom stuffed baati.

We landed at Jamming Goat after contemplating multiple options.. but am I glad that we chose this restaurant!
Excellent food, friendly service, not in a rush to complete the last order of the noon, good music and cool ambience!
The servers knew their menu well and gave excellent recommendations for the food and desserts.
I wish them the best and hope to visit again the next time I am in Goa!

Little restaurant on the Beach, serves a mix of fusion pan Asian food with a twist. Had the right balance of local cuisine with a mix of Asian influence, outstanding!!!
Second, the cocktails were superb and again a lot of new mixes. Had a great time.

I must say the food and cocktails are out of the world. Super tasty and delicious 😋. The staff is well trained and friendly. Crab Meat bruschetta is must to have. One negative point on less payment options. They should start accepting credit card, with limited network at the beach, i had to struggle 5-10 mins to settle thru UPI.

Eclectic and well-executed cocktails and dishes. Staff was attentive and kind. Amazing view of the sunset, good tunes, tasty drinks, not much more you could want. Not a GnT, not a pina coloda, the bail soda cocktail all recommended. We also had the sea bass appetizer, mango curry with fish, chili chicken and butter naan, lamb stew, all delicious. Oh and the calamari appetizer too. We ended up coming back here three times in our 5 days in Goa after trying other places that didn’t meet the mark. Only thing is the bathroom is somewhat precarious as mentioned in another review; you have to walk up a few stairs onto a wooden platform .. just have to watch your step.

Went to the Jamming Goat this evening and it was absolutely superb and well worth a visit!
We had numerous small plates of delicious well presented food. The gunpowder prawns were outstanding but to be honest all of the 5/6 plates were all amazing. We shared a pudding which was a very light goan desert (can’t remember the name of it) recommended by the lovely staff and that too was out of this world.
The cocktails were all great too and everything was great value for money!
We have traveled throughout India over the last 3 weeks and this was probably the best meal we have eaten.
Definitely worth a visit.
We will certainly return

I loved The Jamming Goat. Service fabulous. Food so delicious! We had the sea food bass grilled with lemon butter, the vegetable curry and the 24 hour lamb. As a starter we had the mushroom starter. All the food was awesome and came in dishes easy to share. We had drinks that hit the spot. Go to the Goat. Worth your time. Go hungry!

Just adjacent to the royal orchid resort and bang on the beach, this place is a delicious hub of curated culinary delights. One of the best eaten continental grilled chicken with mushroom sauce. Do visit if you are in the vicinity.
