A great location on the beach, and a very well maintained restaurant with shade, fans, level ground, mats, etc
We had the stuffed prawn papad, calamari, a crab in xac xac curry, a tandoori pomfret and a prawn curry, with steamed rice; along with beers and drinks. The curry was a bit bland, but the pomfret and crab were quite nice.
Service was excellent. A waitstaff mistakenly knocked over a glass of beer at our table, and a new bottle was provided without us even asking. That was very professional.
An excellent afternoon on a great day.

Had an amazing experience had lobster and crab from today’s catch with rice salad vegetables wine was amazing. Beer was great and the atmosphere was fantastic. Great evening to have a happy ending at the end of the night with my lovely wife.

This is just near the royal orchid by regenta central. Had a great experience at this place. Went for 2 days straight to this place. The food , vibe , and location which was just near the beach was like cheery on the cake. Loved it so that even after staying at the royal orchid went for dinner over there.

We dined as a family of 3 people. When ordering dishes, the waiter announced a certain price, so for fish 3500 rupees. When I paid, I brought the bill and it was already 4,500 rupees. And he didn’t want to discuss anything, he said pay and that’s it. Unfriendly staff.
The prices for the dishes are very high. However, the quality of food is absolutely mediocre. They take advantage of the fact that there are generally terrible shacks nearby - cafes. But if you walk a little further, you can eat at a reasonable price and much tastier.

It was lunch time and we were the only ones in the restaurant. Should have been our first clue but we tried it anyway. Ordered fish curry rice and it was really bad fish. Probably several days old or frozen. Only two pieces. The mixed vegetables was tasty but we came for the fish. Disappointed! We noticed that some white folks came as we finished and they were shown fresh crabs and fish. This was not done for us. I hate to call it discrimination but that is what it seems like. We are Indians.

Recommended by our guide, this was the low point of our trip to Goa. VERY expensive red snapper (2600 rupees), very quiet despite the beachfront location, and although the staff outnumbered the guests, the service was slow. Sad, as it is a big place right on the beach, but I can't recommend it at all.

Unpleasant experience! Please read through
A surprise valentine lunch turned out to be a horribly unpleasant experience. We walked in to this restaurant in South Goa called Zeebop for lunch. The place was completely empty and being the first customers for lunch we asked the staff to place a table close to the edge of their property where the view is much better and which they used to do earlier. . They told us that it was against restaurant policy and asked us to stay in the area closer to the kitchen as their service becomes easier. We obliged and orders our drinks. We took our drinks to a beach beds which they had kept at the edge of their property. 10 minutes later a foreigner walked in. We saw the staff placing a table at the exact location where we had asked them to put the table for us. One staff member then told my husband to get up from the beach bed we were sitting on. We couldn’t believe what we were facing, racism??? We told the manager about this obvious discrimination within 10 minutes of having denied us the same arrangement he started making excuses as to how the foreigner was a regular. What is even more surprising is that they denied us the same arrangement stating that if it was done for us then all the other guests would also want the same. Shockingly it seems that the restaurant was willing to have a foreigner sitting in the location that we had requested. The entire experience was absolutely horrible for us!!!

Certainly, the location is nice. It remains a small beach restaurant.
The food is not bad but it is quite disappointing. Everything is fried, bathed in oil, while the fish/shrimp (….) should be the kings of the plate. The shrimp were fried in fritters. We didn't even taste the shrimp again.
It is possible to choose your fresh fish to taste but the prices are staggering for a restaurant of this standing.

I don't see the reason why I would pay 2000 RS for a red snapper and be seated on a plastic chair, while doing that? Naan was 120 bucks and roti, which was roasted like a papad was little cheaper. The beef tasted good though. I just can't get the point of going to a shack and paying this kind of money. In comparison, the food at royal orchid was better, cheaper, looked more hygienic and offered comfortable place to sit.
Live crab was about 2800 RS. These are prices you would pay at fine dining places, not a place with plastic chairs.

I went here recently with a large group when staying at a nearby resort. We ordered a huge fish which they served cooked in two different sauces then recommended all the sides for us. They even let us come into the kitchen and see how they cooked in the tandoor. Everything was delicious including the cocktails which we found was rare in this area. The setting is beautiful too. We entered off the sand and you can sea the ocean from your table.

Pricy but delicious seafood. Our family of 11 thoroughly enjoyed the setting of this place and had some great seafood in goan preparations with delicious cocktails. If you compare the price to other similar places in goa, the dishes are on the expensive side but the seafood was fresh. We enjoyed a 1,5 kg crab which was exhorbitant in price but deliciously cooked and relished by all.
worth a try if you are in south goa.

The location, service and cleanliness is perfect. The staff is friendly and nice.
The food was unfortunately not up to the mark.
The calamari was rubbery and the fish curry was far from being authentic.

I have been visiting Zeebop for many many years now. I was introduced to Zeebop during an office event back in 2008-09 and have been going back there ever since. It is located by the Utorda Beach, South Goa. Not only does it offer a mesmerizing view of the Arabian Sea, it provides a quick & easy access to the white sand beach. Utorda Beach is not a very very popular beach, and due to limited visitors, the beach remains immaculately clean.
The setting at Zeebop is a mix of mediterranean & tropical. There's ample space and the restaurant never gets over crowded. To get the best seats, please ensure that you reserve your table if you are visiting them over the weekend. It tends to get a bit hotter during the lunch hours, but easily manageable. They have wonderful staff & service is pretty quick.
The food is typically what you'd expect at a Goan restaurant. For beginners, try their fried raechado prawns, grilled red snapper and mussels rawa fry. When I am there, I usually stick to the starters and therefore, have never really tried their main course. But I am certain, it must be good too. They also have a selection of fresh catch of the day; you choose the fish & the sauce and let the chef do the magic.
It is an absolutely wonderful place. If you are visiting Goa next, make time out for this place. Go there for lunch. You won't regret it.

Came here to celebrate my mums birthday, was shunned out the moment we had the last morsel of food on my plate. They just wanted us out to cater to a private event, I respect the establishments need to cater to all clientele but then you could have told us that you were shut rather than squeeze us in and toss us out... Hospitality business is all about setting expectations. You got a great location but the food lacks love...

This was our second visit to the restaurant. The good part about the place is ambience and where it is located. Their food is tasty however portion size is very small in comparisons to prizing. They close their kitchen by 3.30 and 10 thats the only flaw I could find.
