Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Went there by coincidence, but the best decision ever made. Very friendly staff, warm welcome and great service. The food was absolutely stunning, we had the Dorade fish, some home made chips and an omelette, all fresh made and very very tasty. May not look like a lot, but its traditional and local. Absolutely worth a try!

Stopped for drinks on our way around the island. Great find. Do a great selection of smoothies and reasonably priced. Their food menu looked really good, plenty of fresh fish. Stunning views overlooking the sea.

Before getting on the boat to Chalki with my son, we had a small breakfast here at 08:15 in the morning. Thank you very much to the lady concerned.

We had lunch here and were so glad we did! We did not expect to be able to have a vegan meal at a seafood restaurant but we were so happy to be able to order their vegan lunch. The service was great and the waitress told us her Mother made everything! We loved it and would definitely return if we are lucky enough to travel to Kamiros again!

Nice family owned restaurant with very friendly staff. I would recommend the fish of the day. Everything was very fresh and felt very authentic.

Chose this taverna over its neighbour as it looked more authentic and offers fantastic views of the harbour. Ordered several dishes for lunch. Pita bread was from a supermarket packet and cheese balls were obviously factory made. Salads were good. However the fish was awful. Sitting watching fishing boats come and go we thought it was a safe bet but our whitebait was stale and unpleasant. Our complaint brought the odd response that it was special fish brought in from Halki and that's why it tasted bitter (it didn't - just fusty) - an excuse so bizarre and well-prepared we felt it had been used before. No discount on the (not cheap) bill for the fish despite our complaint. There are better places to eat in Rhodes for less of your hard-earned cash.

We’ve just had the most amazing dolmades. Decided to have a quick bite to eat and ordered the dolmades, tsakziki and bread. Absolutely awesome The problem is whether to order dolmades again as the benchmark is now so high it will be difficult to beat Totally blown away at how fresh and delicious they were - so many times before the vine leaves have been so pickled Great location and such a friendly welcome too - brilliant- we won’t forget

Kámiros Skála is not the romantic fishing harbor tourists might be looking for. But cake and coffee at O Loukas are good, nevertheless, and the waitress speaks excellent German. Too bad that I already had lunch, because I would have loved to try the Greek version of a vegan menu, that is offered here ;)

Food is eatable, but not the best meal I’ve had on the island. Fish shrimps and calamari were okay and meat okay, nothing special though

Stopped here for lunch whilst on our road trip of the island. Very warm welcome, friendly service and clean. Good value for money menu with typical Greek dishes. No problem at all recommending a visit if your close by.

We entered this place since the other restaurants looked too touristic while Loukas seemed to be authentic and frequented by locals. The service was smiling and inviting. The salad fresh and outstanding. The grilled swordfish was disappointing. The waitress told us that the fish is fresh. We had the impression that it was frozen. We committed the common mistake not to ask to see the fish first before its processing. It wasn't thoroughly grilled and had the air of underdone frozen fish.

Quite expensiveGre. In fact it was 10% more expensive than any other similar tavern in Rhodes. It is located next to where the ferry leaves to Halki but a little bit further down there are 3 more tavernas which were much busier and cheaper.

Wednesday 31st August, on our way to the island of Halki, catching the ferry from Kamiros Scala havng made the 45 minutes transfer from Rhodes Airport to the small port by coach. The ferry was due to leave at 17.30 and we were about an hour early, so along with other travellers we made our way to the nearest Taverna, which was this one. It was good to sit and have our first Greek beer of the holiday and watch the goings on in the Port, there was a large ship being unloaded. The Port, or more accurately, fishing harbour is situauted in a small picturesque bay on the west side of Rhodes. We ordered 2 large glasses of Alpha beer, €3.50 each, so about average, not rip off, however staff not overly friendly, did not experience a friendly Greek welcome.

Beatiful place in fornt to the little fishing harbour of Skala Kamiros. A family run restaurant real greek. Fresh fish. The dish are really as showned in the poster outside the restaurant. Warm welcome and service. Also vegan menu is avaible. One wonderfull sunset from the harbour. And after the sunset the dinner in this restaurant is a wonderful closing evening.
