Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Visited for lunch after a visit to the Ancient city Kirimas. Great view from the table over the beach went up to the fish counter an chose a beautiful fresh snapper for two people grilled to perfection with some olive oil and lemon (not showered in garlic) and the waiter de-boned the fish for us. Fantastic meal. Make sure when you choose your rich that they weigh it and agree the price.would highly recommend this spot for a back to traditional Greece vibe. Just what we needed during a pandemic! Fabulous

I was recommended the restaurant by a local and I think its one of the best places to eat and relax on the island. The Greek salad had fresh herbs added; the fish was fresh and the catch of the day (fussy child even ate red mullet bones and skin which was beautifully prepared). I really enjoyed the beetroot salad with a garlic sauce. A perfect service with very polite hosts. The beach chairs were lovely and comfortable at no extra cost and you could order refreshments on the beachfront too (coffee served in lovely glass cups instead of plastic) . This is a quiet spot with an absolutely beautiful view. I wish I had discovered this little gem sooner as my kids would have loved the sandy beach and play area but a bit too old for that now.

....if you want to eat in a quite authentic greek tavern (on sundays often visited by locals). Located on the beach, except traditional greek food, you can have really fresh fish from the daily offer. Being there twice, both fish were fresh and tasty. Surroundig beach with the flat access to the sea, suitable for kids as well, gives you refresh after a visit of the near Old Kamiros archeologic site or on your ride back either from Rhodos town to the south or vice versa.

I enjoyed the perfectly cooked fresh sea bass, recommended by the restaurant, but there are plenty of choices for people who don’t eat fish. This was a lovely authentic Greek meal. We enjoyed an hour of swimming in the sea and sunbathing. It’s excellent that they offer this facility for free

This Taverna kept popping up in reviews when i was looking for good seafood, although we were staying in Lindos the other side of the Island we decided to find this place on the way back from Rhodes Old Town for a spot of late lunch. as we pulled up and parked opposite we could see we had found a gem. It was extremely busy but we got seated straight away with a superb sea view. The ambiance here was amazing, everyone chatting laughing and generally having fun eating superb food and drinking ice cold wine and beers on a very hot day. So pleased we went out of our way to find this place, would highly recommend and yes the seafood was mouthwatering. Staff were friendly and attentive

Spent the day at this beautiful taverna on Sunday friendly family run and we were warmly greeted on arrival in an amazing setting with free sun beds in a stunning bay. We had a lunch from their fresh fish menu which was absolutely lovely. Definitely worth a visit

Had an afternoon Mezi here as the owners were cousins of the car hire we had. Great food and you can have free sunbeds and parasol on the small beach after. The food was excellent maybe a little on the expensive side but the taste was great.

We were given the brochure to this place whilst visiting Kamiros. Right on the beach and popular with locals coming out of the cities for the day. Shrimps from Symi ( a local island) and a simple Greek salad. Sunbeds were free and there was beach service if required. Lovely clear water.

We chose this restaurant by the sea because it has good food. Sunbeds on the beach at a very reasonable price of 5 euros per person and waiter service on the beach. Really nice place to visit, which we did a couple of times. It is also close to the Ancient site of Kamiros. The beach is stoney so invest in a pair of beach shoes if going swimming.

We actually visited twice as it was such a nice experience, really friendly, service and food excellent, great location overlooking sandy beach where you could rent their reasonably priced sunbeds. Fish was superb, the second visit was on Sunday and there were many local Greek families eating there which was obviously a good sign. Price was cheaper than other restaurants we ate at and choice was excellent. If you are staying on the west coast definitely give it a try.

This is more than a restaurant. Returned after a year and have enjoyed the same quality experience of comfortable free beach chairs with prompt drinks service. We ate at the restaurant an outstanding meal looking out to the sea. Really fresh produce beautifully presented and of course fresh fish and seafood. I would recommend the aubergine dip, which unlike other restaurants, is homemade. In fact rather than look at the menu just ask them to recommend side dishes. Very nice & polite hosts that go out if their way to make it a relaxing experience.

We have been here for 3 days now, but this was the most delicious meal that I have eaten since I’m here. The restaurant’s location is perfect, because they have a clean sandy beach. The prices are great and the dishes are huge. My father is a vegetarian and he could choose from lots of different dishes. The waiters/ waitresses are really kind, patient and familiar. I loved the view of the sea. It was waving and the sunset was beautiful too. All in all it was my best restaurant experience in Rhodes.

We ate here after visiting the beautiful site of ancient Kamiros: the lamb chops are absolutely stunning, and whatever they were marinated in prior to grilling should probably be illegal…. Everything is simply and freshly prepared in this slightly old-fashioned, completely authentic family restaurant with a wonderful sea view just above the beach. Don’t be put off by the dated furniture or the apparently more slick operators next door: this is the place to eat at Kamiros!

On a road trip for the day, and was desperate for a snack and drink. we went past many 'dodgy' looking places, but then cam along to the Old Kamiros. It was busy, lots of parking, so we stopped. Just had coffee, and some dips and bread. Sound simple but what we sere served was genuine, authentic Greek food. Yes it's a tourist eatery, but it is run by a large family and it gave such an authentic feel, we felt it made our day. The menu choice was plentiful, the small beach apparently can be lovely, and whilst not the best subject in the world - a visit to the toilets resulted in seeing the cleanest public toilets we have seen. This shows that they care. If you are passing and see the sign - stop off....even for a drink or snack. Ask them about the family !!

We visited this restaurant on two occasions whilst on holiday for a week. We were greeted by a friendly member of staff and the food and drink order was taken. Can recommend the gyros, pizza and salads. Would go back if ever visiting Rhodes again
