This is a place where you may go to eat something quick and not elaborated. No great expectations. Not a place you really want to have good food

We had lunch here while on our full day tour of São Miguel. If you are in Furnas, you must try the Cozido das Furnas, beef, pork, chicken, potato, yam, blood sausage and chorizo prepared together in a fumerole. Believe me when I say that...More

The food is good and the prices are reasonable especially compared to the Terra Nostra Hotel and Tony’s. They accommodated our group of 8 easily and the staff was very friendly

OMG, the food here was amazing!!!! I ended up buying some of the pepper dip before we left! The location was small and quaint and felt like a real island experience! Staff was super friendly and we loved every minute!!

The grilled fresh Sardines were excellent. Simple seasoning, excellent flavor. The boiled potatoes, yams. Turnips, carrots, cabbage, Brussel...More

We ate here twice - once at lunch during an all-day guided tour of the island (with Azores On Travel - check them out). Lunch was the classic Codizo das Furnas and included wine and dessert. The Cozido was really nice - the beef was...More

Looking for a low keyed spot for Cozido? We walked in around 13h on a Sunday afternoon. They had Cozido, seafood, french fries and even a decent salad for me (the vegan in the group). The one that ordered Cozido cldnt stop raving...the meat fell...More
