The only Recommendation on French fries, they are a bit soft they should be crispier. The location simple but cute. Within walking distance and has a very large adjacent parking. Typical spanish bar/diner. good value and choice. Friendly stall and service! Ahough we wouldnt visit Modano again because we would rather stay at a place with a little bit more going on.

Do not go here If you not speak Spanish

I do not recommend ordering pizza from this place If you do not speak some Spanish. Even though they located in the main square of El Médano (where there are lots of tourists), and they provide an English menu, the staff does not speak any English. We tried to order burgers today via phone (18.06.2021) and after the guy said "No, we do not speak English", he simply hung up the phone without trying to solve the problem or even just said goodbye. Then we sent an SMS, no response. Unprofessional.

Amazing food huge portions even if you don't speak Spanish

This is a great place to get cheap eats even if you don't speak Spanish. There are QR codes on the table to download a menu in English. The staffs English is limited but better than my Spanish and I'm not that ignorant to expect them to speak fluent English in their own country. We ate twice there on our stay even though we were all inclusive. The steaks are amazing and they have charts so you can pick how you like it cooked. 25 euro for 2 massive steaks over an inch thick served with salad and chips and 2 cokes how can you go wrong. the second visit we had a half meter pizza and chips between us and still had lots left over, the waiter had no issue in boxing us up the pizza. Thank you guys for your amazing food and patients with my rubbish Spanish (pointing at pictures works in any language)

Walking round town and found metro king...hmm maybe somewhere to go this evening? Restaurant was closed but just setting up for lunchtime.. Lost our custom within 10 second's flat refused to let us read the menu which was a large display just inside the door (door was open) and said get out!! Not a good impression/welome for prospective customers..went elsewhere for dinner.

Sorry to say that the food here was awful. I had ordered the special Metro King Salad. Special it was not. The green salad was limp, and the all important asparagus, egg and dressing were missing. I requested it, so first the waiter brought some dressing aka thousand island dressing, which was nice with my chips. I asked again for the asparagus and egg and look at the picture to see what he brought.... Some of the others couldn't eat all their burgers as they tasted odd, and my son's steak was chewy and fatty. The best thing was the chips!!! It was a shame as my friend had been there many times pre the plandemic and it was an amazing restaurant then. It's under new ownership apparently. We went and got a delicious ice cream at the Gelataria in the red square which made up for it! Now that place is worth a visit!!

Don't be put of by the slightly naff name, the food, value & service are amazing! Only went in because we were staying nearby & Friday Eve, most other restaurants were full. Fab experience, fab food & we actually queried the bill as we thought they had undercharged us. Place became very busy as night went on. I think.locals know it well as it's very Spanish - we like that! If we wanted " British beer served here" we would go to Las Americas!

Underground, as the name suggests. Totally overwhelmed staff which Half of all orders simply forget and become unfriendly when asked. Places directly at the kitchen at felt 50°. The served meat inferior and actually not worth the name, plus on return discussions with the chef as topping. Definitely not a Recommendation

I'm loathe to write negative reviews on here but after walking past this place a few times and seeing people in, I thought I'd give it a go as it catered for everyone. The food was school canteen fair, although the portions were big. The best entertainment was people outside discussing their pizza. Was definitely quantity but not much quality going on. Service was friendly and polite though.

We loved this place. It was the first time we visited Rl Medano and they had told us about this place, so we went to try their 1 meter pizzas!!! EXCELLENT!! Special service, super delicious food. Very well located. It was an unforgettable afternoon. More than pleased. 100% recommended.

Disappointing to see how a restaurant in the year 2024 gets rid of people with some type of food intolerance. THEIR ENTIRE MENU says that it has Gluten, even the salads. Very little empathy, and also with a very unkind treatment of my questions. Please evolve.
