This place is called soul cafe and it truly does just put your soul at rest, the coffee is great and the prices are amazing for the quality of service and food/drink. If your a animal lover you will adore this place, the dogs are full of unconditional love filling this place with joy. The decor is really bespoke and emits a calm breeze throughout the cafe. The sound and smell of the ocean swells by relaxes you as you sit back and socialise or meditate. We searched for a peaceful area of tenerife with a nice cafe which offered vegan options to relax before we got out flight back, we cant believe this placed offered just that. It does what it says on the tin, this cafe is for the health of your soul. The options of green teas was great and they offer almond milk in there coffee for vegans to which my girlfriend is. If you want zen then you should visit this place.

Lunch with a view

We visited a couple of times during our week in El Medano for lunch and had fab food with great service in a very relaxed atmosphere. Tried to visit for the sunset but no tables available, so would recommend getting there early to avoid disappointment. Definitely worth a visit anytime of day.

I live in El Medano and have been here just a handful of times , infact I've been here twice this week as we have a friend staying with us . Let me just say , lovely food , diabolical service . We waited for half an hour before we even ordered our drinks and food . A table of around 12 people turned up got seated , ordered straight away , the food and drinks for 12 people came before ours and we were sat waiting before them !! We only ordered Chicken strips , I think they had to go out and catch the bloody thing ! Went back yesterday decided to eat there again as it was practically empty so thought they would be more efficient , well how wrong we were , waited for ever for my beer , and then 3 times longer than for ever to pay the bill , I walked out and went to another bar and left the wife there to pay . Yeah great location , nice food but the slowest service E.V.E.R 🙄

Gorgeous Sunset Cocktail

We stopped here about an hour before sunset, got a lovely table no problem taking in the gorgeous views of the sea and the mountain. We got the courgette and goats cheese tapa and some olives which were both gorgeous. Mojitos were fab and the glasses of wine were tasty and cheap. Great service and great prices. Perfect view of the sunset (get there a little before, as it tends to fill up just before the sun goes down). Would definitely recommend!

Perfect sunset view

Fab bar, great atmosphere with friendly locals and tourists and chilled music in the background. Staff very friendly and helpful serving great value for money drinks and snacks. Perfect for sunset in Medano whilst sipping a glass of wine or a beer with a bowl of tasty nachos. You need to try it to appreciate it!

We went on a Saturday, around 1:45 p.m., we ordered two beers. When serving them we asked if they could bring us some olives and the answer was that the kitchen was closed!! Seriously? on a Saturday at noon? Of course we don't consume anything else. At no time did we intend for them to be free. I found it embarrassing.

Wrote a review in Nov 22. Nothing has changed. Still great view (difficult to get that wrong) still great music, still appalling service. We only went back because friend was visiting and he requested going. We watched an over worked waitress doing her best while we waited 15 minutes to get served. There were 4 tables that needed clearing that remained uncleared/dirty while we were there. This was not her fault, she was pleasant, personable & efficient but the place is a shambles. Will not return

Called in a number of times. Feels a bit like you are gate crashing a private club. Service varies from sublime (quick, pleasant staff) to ridiculous (once we walked out after being ignored for 10 minutes when Place was not busy). Another time table was dirty, waitress said I’ll clean it. Then proceeded to rearrange the debris! When it’s good it’s a pleasant view, with good tea & coffee and excellent music. Can’t comment on food

Family of 4 with a baby in arms, sat at a table as needed to feed the baby. We’re looking to have some drinks, coffees etc. No English speaking staff and refused to try and communicate. Said we couldn’t sit at the table while they cleared it? We couldn’t understand why. Then ignored us for over half an hour, refused to clear the table, take an order or acknowledge us. Clearly don’t need the custom or money in a small town out of season! Very arrogant, deserve to fail.

Wonderful breakfast vibes

Had Breakfast, at what seems to be a consistently busy bar/restaurant. Really can’t fault the place! Good choice of reasonably priced breakfast options. Service friendly & efficient. Not in a busy location, so although not directly on the beach can still see and hear the waves. Has a great relaxed atmosphere, totally recommend.

great place, great people, great location

We spent a few evnings here having cocktails and cannot really fault it for drinks and atmosphere. The Manfreds Sangria is delicious. I've never seen such an extensive cocktail menu. We did have a meal one evening and perhaps made the wrong choice so didn't return for food

I’m a frequent visitor to Manfreds when in El Medano and it never fails to please. Great friendly and patient staff, especially with my limited Spanish. Ask for a cocktail or a good Spanish gin and it is delivered. I couldn’t turn down the opportunity to try a new cocktail the Kiev Mule! Good music and complementary popcorn or peanuts in shells. A great spot.
