Great stay and food at Ca Brusa

Visited the Barolo area for wine tastings and site-seeing. Stayed at Ca'Brusa, a family owned and operated vineyard, hotel and restaurant. Hotel accommodations are simple but more than adequate. Breakfast each morning was typical European fare with delicious breads/baked goods,cheeses, fruits, yogurt, juice and coffee. More than enough to get our day started. We also had dinner there one evening and it was DELICIOSO!!!! 6-7 courses (lost count) of farm to table from their kitchen with appropriate wine parings. Dinner was a wonderful, memorable event. All of the staff, which included family members, were very accommodating throughout our visit.

Convivial dinner!

We had dinner here with a group of friends in early August, taking advantage of the outdoor terrace overlooking the hills. Well-kept location, clearly visible from the street with very convenient parking reserved for customers... not a detail for a restaurant in the Langhe, great! The menu consists of simple, traditional courses, often offered in trays to share with the table, very convivial. Good service and excellent presentation of wines. We tasted the wines produced by the same company, of good quality and very representative of the territory. Local highly recommended for a dinner with friends and price in line with what we ate. Booked for Sunday lunch as a couple via email, we were contacted by Mrs. Francesca who illustrated prices and menus. Well I would say a nice and nice presentation On the defined Sunday we are welcomed in the internal car park of the restaurant by a kind gentleman who, with a map of the table layout complete with his name in hand, shows us a room (of the three, which I later discovered, the restaurant is made up of). This restaurant is great for adults or people with good appetite but we had a 7 year old and she was completely ignored. We got some prosciutto for her and some beef but with every round of food only 2 plates were brought meaning they had no intention of catering for her. We paid 40 per adult which is a fair price and the food was good apart from the meagre main and another 10 for her which was for a coke and the sliced meats. Even an extra plate of potatoes would have been welcomed instead we gave her ours. We are not the first to have a young child and considering the whole evening was almost 4 hours they need to consider the children.

Exceptional lunch with a view of the Langhe! TO TRY!

Sunday lunch with a group of friends with excellent quality raw materials and abundant dishes (menu €45; menu + 5 glasses combined with the courses €58). The menu consists of an entree, tasting of 4 appetizers, 2 first courses, second course with side dish, trio of desserts, coffee and digestives. The dishes were so good and inviting that I didn't have time to take photos... Excellent value for money. There were 15 of us and the service was excellent and professional! We were all amazed by the friendliness and quality! The wine they produce is really good and 5 glasses were more than enough. The interior space is also clean and welcoming. Truly a pleasant discovery! I'll be back soon!

A sincere home-made trattoria, by comparison, would have been almost starry: €325 in two for a service in which the different wines of the tasting route were served in the same glass (mixture of white and red), slight resistance in the replacement of cutlery, bread of the day before. They have a fixed menu and do not give away different choices (only a first course or only a second course). Beautiful place to visit the Langhe

My boyfriend and I stayed for two nights in this farmhouse in the heart of the Langhe and we had a great time from every point of view. The well-kept and renovated room, overlooking the typical valleys of the Langhe, the breakfast that was served to us mainly consisted of bread, slices of cake, biscuits and homemade jams (the plum one was delicious!). We also had the opportunity to enjoy a dinner based on typical Piedmontese dishes, all delicious. Highly recommended!!!

Lunch with fixed menu with 5 starters, 2 first courses, one second course and three desserts. All dishes excellent and plentiful! The fried bread with lard, the raw meat, the veal with tuna sauce and the desserts (in particular the orange panna cotta) are special. stayed with my husband in the Langhe. Nice and elegant cozy rooms all new. hearty breakfast with homemade products. The dinner delicious fresh pasta appetizers I do not know which to choose... one better than the other.... accompanied by a sublime wine... Truly a dinner to forget. Waiters in slippers and tipsy. Between one course and another they didn't even change the cutlery or plate. Menu served without having the slightest idea of what is coming. Well, for a bill of over €100 we would have expected more. It's a shame because the location was really worthy. A waste.

If You want taste real Pedmont it is right place to do that. Food amazing. Barbera, Barolo, Brut rose in a high level!!!! Staf very friendly. The apartments are fully renovated.
