Cooked fish, chicken and meat dishes also available as we have over 100 dishes on our menu including vegetarian options. Of 10 places we ate out in Grenada this was unquestionably one of the best. The sushi was exquisite, prepared fresh by their Filipino chefs. The service was really friendly and the suggestion to share their featured "Bridge" was well made. The wine list is simple and well priced. We sat outside - the tables are basic but bracketed between Antonio's and Tortuga there's a lively vibe. One to go back to!!

Once again, Carib Sushi has combined technique and taste to completely satisfy my palette. From the basic spicy/crunchy tuna rolls to the speciality rolls with local fish and traditional ingredients, this location has won my tastebuds over the moon and back. Customer service is slow but consistently friendly; plus they have pink Ting which is my favorite so it is an added bonus to my experience at Carib Sushi. Thanks for the vibes!

We ran into a person who had a day pass to our resort, he had been living in Grenada for 25 years. He said this was the best sushi he's ever had so we had to try it. His assessment was not wrong. We tried many different sushi and sashimi, all raw, all were probably the freshest we have ever had. He did say that the owners worked with the local fisherman teaching them how to prepare the fish they catch so it was in the best condition before reaching the restaurant. Either way, it was a great meal that I would highly recommend.

When we arrived, we had a reservation. On the door was a notice that they were short staffed. Sure, understood. However, if you're short staffed, then you need to limit the number of guests that you're going to seat. Instead of turning people away, the restaurant went to 100% capacity, indoors and out. There were 5 of us; we were seated at 6P. We didn't leave until almost 8:45P, and there was a 1.5h gap between when we got our appetizer until our first plate of food.
There was a huge disconnect between the staff taking orders, and the two sushi chefs. The small slips of paper for orders kept getting mixed up - the chefs kept making "duplicate" plates, while other slips were getting ignored.
People that were seated outside kept coming in to find out where their orders were.

I personally booked a dinner for two on a Saturday night walking by the restaurant on the day before.
We arrived on time and we found out that our two seats were a couple of stools with a shelf as "table" right below the aircon unit while both inside and in the nice outdoor area there was plenty of more reasonable chairs and tables given to other people.
We asked to be moved and initially they found another couple of stools still along the same shelf but at least not right before the freezing air for the air conditioner.
Finally a normal table indoor became available and we've been moved there.
The sushi is reasonably good but it took ages for our food to be served, with several good dining options in that area we've never been at this restaurant again during our 10-day holiday and we won't be back at all whenever we'll return to Grenada.
If you really want to try this sushi, avoid busy weekend nights as the people working there just can't cope with a full restaurant.

We are glad you finally got to sit at a table and thank you for letting the staff know you were not happy with your initial seats. All of the dishes at Carib Sushi are made to order so apologies for your long wait. We had dinner at Carib Sushi, and we're impressed by the place. The quality was amazing, a mixture of classic sushi and some with a Caribbean twist. It is not often that one finds such great food on an island, Service was great as well, which does not often happens on other restaurants in Grenada. Overall, extremely happy with our experience.

We had a family dinner at Carib Sushi. As expected they were diligent in checking our vaccinations then shown a table.
The food was really fresh and tasty - we had mixed sushi, teriyaki salmon, and the prawns. All amazing. Great ambiance, and the staff were really helpful.

While planning a visit to Grenada, having sushi was not on our list of things to do. That was a mistake.
Carib Sushi had some of the best sushi we have ever had. The tuna and saba was incredibly fresh and the rolls were expertly prepared and very tasty. The preparation can take a while, so sit back and relax, but it will be worth your while.
As others have pointed out, its best to make a reservation to get a table.
And add having sushi to your to-do list while in Grenada!

The small sushi bar has a covered outdoor patio. In nice weather if you want to sit there it’s best to make a reservation. They also have a teppanyaki grill area with a couple of grill/tables.
While the extensive menu has many options there really isn’t a great variety of fish served. That said, if you are looking for good quality local fish this is the place to come. The menu includes various kinds of rolls, sashimi and sushi. If you want something other than raw fish they also have a large selection of other Japanese dishes.
We tried the spicy tuna roll and a large selection (22 pieces) of the grand mix of local fish served as rolls, sushi and sashimi. Everything was super fresh and a bargain at 85ECD ($30USD).
Service was friendly but somewhat forgetful. We ordered edamame which never came and we had to ask twice for the check.

We've been twice. Tasty international style sushi - mostly using local fish and tuna. The service was good. Prices fair. When quieter the presentation is great eg we had a dragon roll that looked like a dragon

A rather random restaurant in a small parade of shops, but the food quality was excellent. They did forget one of the main courses but fortunately the portion sizes were such that it didn't matter too much. Good portion sizes as I said and quite an extensive menu. Closes early so go early and double-check your order.

Getting good sushi, or Japanese food in general, in such a place is always a gamble. But Carib Sushi really delivers. I had some very good sashimi, vegetable roll, and tempura there, along with some sake. It made for a very pleasant meal.

Not a sushi fan, but the wife is, so this was a regular stol when in St. George's.
Her opinion was that the sushi was good, but for me the reasonable choice of non fish options was winner as I didnt have to sit there with a growling belly while she indulged.
Bit pricey, but worth it IMO.

This has been my worst experience for a restaurant. We came as a group with the family sitting on two tables, orders were taken, drinks have been served. After one hour one of our tables got the food, the other one not. After two hours there was still no food coming out on our table. Even asking several times nobody apologized or explained anything, the staff didn‘t care at all.
This restaurant is a perfect example to see the difference between claim and reality.
They will not see us again as guests.

Klaus, thank you for your post. We are truly sorry that your experience was such a negative one and can totally understand your level of frustration. There were many challenges going on during December that have been resolved but the whole situation by the sounds of it was not handled well at all. I can assure this is not the usual standard of Carib Sushi.

Great little sushi restaurant with outside terrace and air conditioned interior seating. The sushi and sashimi were excellent and the tempura prawns some of the best I have had. Went there twice during our stay and would have gone again had time allowed.
