Enjoyed the nature in Schoorl and Bergen.
We wanted to end this at Lady Papa in Bergen.
Enjoyed at its best, from head to toe!!!
We started with a nice bottle of Grüner Veltliner, very pleasant and nice and friendly.
We had some snacks brought in from the kitchen.
I can safely say that from the first bite to our last sweet dish, we thoroughly enjoyed it.
From salmon tartare, Beijing duck spring roll, to beef tartare.
Fried duck liver, skrei with matchless langoustine, everything was a true poem.
These people in the kitchen know their trade! What quality.
The design of the place and the atmosphere are top-notch and attractive. What a swinging tent.

We had a delicious meal with the family at Lady Papa Bergen. The staff was friendly and service-oriented. We opted for a dish off the menu, namely the Butchers Choice. Please note: the dishes offered outside the menu can be pricey (€ 42.50), so keep this in mind if you don't want any surprises. A small downside was that we received leftover old fries, which does not fit the price range of the restaurant. The pastries from the Beerse bakery were also somewhat disappointing. It was okay, but not what you would expect at a high-end restaurant like Lady Papa.

The restaurant is located on the “food mile” and competes with several others.
In my opinion, this is definitely the best with an interesting menu for all tastes.
The dishes are of varying quality, for example, I didn’t like the karaage for €9, too fatty, too much breading. The torpedo shrimp for €10.50 are the best.
Seasonal fish for €23.50 is delicious, the summer salad with tuna for €25 has more tuna than I’ve ever seen. The veal ribeye for €24.50 is probably the best.
The drinks are at the normal Bergen level, cocktail for €12, glass of wine around €6, carafe of water free!
The service is attentive and fast. I recommend it.

When we made our reservation, we didn't know the exact times the kitchen was open and made our reservation after the actual, hot food was served. The crew had already anticipated this and told us straight away that we would have some "space". Otherwise, the waiters were very attentive, unobtrusive and yet courteous.
We had sushi and it definitely didn't have to hide behind our experience in Düsseldorf.
All in all, a very positive surprise and a definite recommendation in/for Bergen.

After having had a surprisingly delicious meal three times and having complimented the kitchen, I also want to give a review because this is a surprisingly good restaurant. My partner and I tasted 15 different dishes and were always surprised by the chosen flavor palette. They succeed in taking already well-known urban dishes to a higher level: in presentation and taste ensemble.
The staff is knowledgeable, attentive and friendly.

The most expensive and worst Aperol in all of Bergen!! €9.50/no orange slice/no Prosecco/no mineral water.
A little Aperol diluted with tap water... and no reaction to our question - that's cheeky.

Very beautiful tent! Great menu and fantastic cocktails. The only drawback is the older blonde lady in large pink, chunky sneakers in the service. That's a bit of a grump! I don't often take the time to write a review, but I really need to say this. Not only our table but also other tables saw a special lady with special behavior. Shame. The restaurant, located in the middle of Bergen, is tastefully decorated and has a pretty outdoor terrace and very nice and attentive staff.
