Highly recommend this restaurant. Just a few metres from the top of the Sodlisia chairlift. Great Italian fare, friendly staff, nice interior and fantastic value. In busy weeks, for lunch head here by about midday.

I have mixed feelings on this restaurant. It's nice inside and feels like a mountain/ski eatery, which of course it is. I had the wiener schnitzel. It was good, but the dish could have had some sauce to add flavor. It was very large and...cooked nicely, but almost too much breading to the very thin piece of veal. It came with french fries, which was a surprise to see on the menu and I would have preferred a vegetable or something else. My wife had "Roberto" white Spätzle with alpine cheese fondue, onion and crispy farmer's speck, which was quite good. Neither one of us could finish the portions were so large. We both enjoyed her meal better than mine. So here's the questionable part. Several times while we were there, when diners would leave a table after eating, the wait staff would clean the table, but any silverware that appeared to them to be unused, went back into the drawer to be used when setting the next table. So wrong. Made us look at our silverware, but too late as we'd already used them. My wife did not use her knife, but she had gotten a spot of food on it and wiped it off before we noticed this practice. Because of that, she intentionally got it dirty again so it would not be reused. We can't help but wonder how often people get silverware that isn't really clean. You'd think having just gone through Covid, no restaurant would do this. So while the food was a 3.5 or 4, I can't give higher than a 3 because of this unhealthy practice just to save a little dishwashing.More
Went here for lunch as so convenient for the lifts and slopes - definitely a ski in ski out place. One of our party had the child's portion of veal cutlet with fries and found it more than adequate. The Ladin dish of potatoes and...ham and egg was more than we could eat and on another occasion the pizza shared between two of us just about manageable (and we have healthy appetites). The service was brilliant and the whole atmosphere very comforting. Definite return when back in Colfosco!More
Apart from the fantastic view from the terrace food is excellent. We had homemade pasta and Spätzle as well as Kaiserschmarrn for desert. OMG, super delicious. I would definitely come back for dinner.
Restaurant has a stuning view of the valley. Local food is excellent, lasagna/pizza superb. Great entrecote, salad bar is fair. Fish is not their strong point, sweets better but not to kill for. Definitely worth a visit.
Ended up here by accident as hadn’t realised that it was a different restaurant to the Taverna below which we had booked. Arrived and were seated easily. Throughout lunch the staff were attentive and quick ... delivering awesome pizzas to the group very quickly. The...variety of pizza was great from simple classics to some more unusual ones (mushroom and truffle!). A few people chose other dishes and they also were well received. Very happy group of campers all round. No issue with staff at all, that note some of the other reviews have commented on. Only thing to note is that restaurant served adults first leaving children gnawing at table .. if you have kids you may want to just ask them to deal with the hungry little monsters (after the adults have a glass of wine/beer in hand of course :-))More
In a period of the year where nobody accept reservations in Corvara restaurants (especialy not in Fornella), we manage to find this warm, causy place where the personnel both Romanian and Italian make our evenings special. After our first dinner in Lujanta, we decided to...come back and we felt specials seing how they wait for us, arranging the table with different ornaments. Also they prove special hospitality preparing special foods not present in menu, by request. The cheff come to our table and discuss about the food we want and the food we eat. So far, I was pleased with a special salmon tartar, fresh and flavoured! Also the tagliata di manzo was perfectly cooked. Come here and feel good, eat good!More
We came 25 minutes before the kitchen opened but we were very hungry. The waiter was very rude and didn’t make us feel welcomed at all. We then waited for a long time for the waiter to take our order (we decided to just order...hot chocolate) but the waiter didn’t come to take order but instead served the next table that arrived after us. Don’t know if the waiter had a bad day but we will definitely not go there again.More
Pizzas were very tasteful. The interior design of this restaurant is so cozy and beautiful. We hope we will come next time again.
Don't hesitate and go eat a pizza quattro stagione or vegetarian pizza. Good service and nice prices. Chield friendly hotel too.
Very busy inside at lunchtime as it was extremely cold outside, but the staff coped well. Good food. Well cooked salmon, good salad and good pasta dishes all served reasonably quickly.
I visit it first in December on Ski opening. And last week, while we were skiing in Badia we visit this restaurant for lunch - twice. Choice of food is varied. You can choose pizza, italian dishes, local food, everythig was great...but I would recommend the...steak. Very tasty and tender meat and choose fried vegetables for side dish. For me one of best value priced restaurant on Badia slopes. Servis is good. You better do reservation, especially if you plan to come on lunch in bed weather! Highly recommended!More
We arranged to meet up with our families for lunch here. My friend and I managed to grab a big table at 2pm. There was going to be 10 of us. We had a drink and asked for menus. At 2.25 I asked a couple...of questions about the menu and decided to order drinks and starters as our group were working their way through a lift queue and were hungry and thirsty. The waiter smiled and said the kitchen had just closed. We were completely dumb struck! No warning and they had given us menus. We pleaded with him but no joy. If we had been warned we could have ordered for everyone or chosen to go elsewhere. I own a restaurant and I would be horrified if my staff ran my establishment like that. Very very poor.More
We were told kitchen closes at 20:20, quite weird considering a) most kitchens in Colfosco close at 21:30 & b) many people were just seated and had not ordered yet (napkins still on the dishes). The experience was awkwardly unpleasant. We were not dressed poorly...or anything, just not Italian speakers. Went to Mathiaskeller, right round the corner and were treated beautifully.More
The first time we went to Luijanta was a year ago with our skiing instructor, who suggested it was an easy-access place if you fancied a coffee. We had lunch there a few times and thought it was a good price-quality option. We went back...this year and as a result had lunch there every day during our skiing trip. There is an outdoor terrace with a view of the mountains and chairlift/slope, which is great in sunny weather. Otherwise, there is plenty of sitting inside. The place looks nice and modern, the service is fairly quick, but most importantly, the food is excellent. Pizza arrives in about 5 minutes, pasta and mains take a little longer. The menu has both local specialities as well as classic Italian dishes. I found that dishes are served beautifully, was particularly impressed by veal carpaccio. We have also tried tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, grilled sausage with polenta and mushrooms, pizzas. My personal favourite is gnocchi Lujanta style. I can definitely recommend this place.More
