Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Arikis cafe is great, not only a cafe, can buy snorkelling gear, shirts etc book tours, the turtle snorkelling tour with the underwater scooters is great too.

What a lovely place to eat and sit out in the sunshine. We had coffees and toasties here and they were delicious. The staff were very helpful and the place had a lovely atmosphere. Pizzas looked amazing! You can also book tours from here and...enjoy the beautiful brightly hand painted surroundings. We also stayed with Ariki Bungalows on the other side of the island, which we highly recommend! Thank you Jules and Kavae. Hannah and RhysMore

The best spot for vegan and vegetarian food! Open to changes on the menu and has some awesome smoothies! Staff are very friendly. The only things is that you can't always trust the opening times, if it's quiet they will close up shop.

Coffee and vegie wraps - there's some clever vegan options and it's worth keeping an eye on the specials/promo board. We unfortunately missed the Phillipino BBQ night, but there'll be more specials as they build up for more planes arriving. Julz runs a great operation...here, swing past for a coffee or something more. This is also the home of Turtle Adventures, we did this a couple of years ago and NOW is a great time to go, 15 months without tourists/boats means loads of turtles around.More

We don't usually write reviews, but this is the fourth year my husband and I have visited the little shack - consecutively. My husband has done most of the tours and the cafe has been a place to wile our time away where we've had...wonderful conversations with local residents and staff who were inviting and somehow remember who we are. When we arrived we were especially looking forward to coming in as we've seen the changes it has gone through on our social medias but the lady who served us was rather obtuse and quite rude as we were wanting to order food and drinks not book in a tour at the wrong counter. We have driven past a few times yet she is always there, has there been a change of ownership?More

My partner and I stopped in here for a cold drink. I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed the dairy free options for drinks and ice cream.

Sharing a site with Ariki adventures, the cafe has a brief menu. From the Salmon Bagel and Iced coffee I enjoyed, they are quality fresh items. I will be back before heading home. Friendly, welcoming staff. Fresh tasty brunch.
