We went for a wedding anniversary lunch. Warm welcome. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Food was terrific. A bit on the expensive side, but we'll worth it.

This really is a great pub - my wife and I are foodies and this is one of our favourite places for lunch or dinner. Excellent food, friendly informal but professional staff. Menu recommendations well received!

Beautiful pub, decor is beautiful and a real ambient atmosphere. All of the staff were super nice, friendly, happy and helpful. The food was from another world. Superb and plenty of it our room was small but still very nice and lovely to have a...really good sized ensuite with a full size shower.More

We decided to visit after seeing the chef has won a prestigious award & we were not disappointed the food is excellent the staff welcoming the whole place is set out nice with a eccletic mix of decor they also have a marquee that is...wrapped around the back of conservatory that I assume is used for bigger parties that again was well equipped with heaters all in all it was a very enjoyable lunch although not the place for a impromptu pub lunch ie "scampi & chips" as it fine dining at its best there is a small bar area where you can have a drink if that's all you want but it's a fab place for a special occasion & I'm sure the staff would be able to cater for whatever you require. We will be returning soon & reccomendMore

After reading reviews and recommendations from friends we were looking forward to something special at The Dog Unfortunately it was over rated and over priced. Had better food locally, cold sitting in conservatory, hard to talk given noise from another table, 'extra treats and anniversary...drinks to celebrate pubs 5th year we're no where in site and £10 for a liqueur coffee, never paid that at top restaurants in London. Very disappointing.More

I had wanted to try this restaurant for some time now and I can safely say I was not disappointed. Both the food and service were outstanding. The menu was so appealing that I found it hard to decide what to have but as you...can probably tell from my comments above I was more than happy with my choices. Can’t wait to go back to try other dishes with maybe an overnight stay next time.More
