Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This cute cafe has delicious food and drinks. The cafe itself has a great vibe and cool chairs and tables made from local materials. There is a nice forest view and interesting local art. A great spot if you're vegetarian.

During our stay in Lushoto my friend and I visited Asante Cafe a couple of times! The place seems very well organized by incredibly friendly staff! The food and coffee are freshly made (and very good) and the atmosphere is just very nice. For instance...they play some really groovy music ;) Also Freddy kindly took care of our luggage for three days when we wanted to do a 3 days hike away from Lushoto. If you are ever in Lushoto this place should be visited!More

A place filled with love :) The meeting place of Lushoto traveller’s and locals, where so many projects were born. You will be warmly welcomed by Fred and Yahaya, who created out of this place more than just a coffee shop. They know the area...better than anyone, If you need a guide to show you around, go on a cooking tour, a hike around the mountains or any advice, they are the ones you have to meet :) You will get the best organic coffee (from a local farm) and Excellent spice tea. They will share with you their story, how they created the coffee shop, All the projects they have to help the community and kids (school, library) and the beautiful art they make. Books available, organic food, great music (Dj Yahaya), good wifi and friendly vibes. Wonderful place ! Home away from home. Hongea Sana Asante CaféMore

A lovely cafe with wifi. A nice place to hang out, and an amazing story about Coffee, Community, Art and how all these things came together. Ask Matson to tell you more about it. And if you have time I recommend the coffee tour. Matson...will take you to the local coffee farms whose coffee you're drinking at the cafe.More

One of the best corner you wanna chill and do a simple one on one or three meetings or cheer up in Lushoto is Asante. The pure and natural coffee is well served here. One of the amazing things is you can even be assisted...to organize tourism activities just by asking anyone who served you. The owner is well knowledgable with whatever can make your stay pleasant. A place to be, a place to stay in Lushoto. Thank you Eneza and the teamMore
