Restaurant with good atmosphere and family treatment. The dishes well prepared and presented. The roast Cochinillo excellent. Good wine list, although it could be improved by offering more varieties of Rioja.
Went there for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon so the place was not crowed at all. The place is very inviting with a serene and elegant atmosphere. The downstairs is the bar - pianola and all - and the restaurant occupies the upper floor. We...were greeted by Pena, the owner and a very gracious hostess. Try the croquettes....simply delicious and square in shape, but the main dish must the baby lamb which is just superb. I suggest ordering some French fries as well since it does go quite well with the lamb. You will also like the bread and the house wine which is excellent and reasonably priced. The desserts are not to be missed either. You can't go wrong here.More

Found this restaurant by accident and we were very glad we did. We had a wonderful Saturday lunch there - great service and a terrific lamb roast. There is no view but with food this good, that did not matter.
I cannot comment on the quality of the roast lamb in this very traditional asador, set in a charming narrow street in the popular tourist destination of Sepulveda. My dog and I sat outside, and since I was having a meal meal at dinner, I...opted for a large starter of morcilla de Burgos (rice-based black sausage) -- delicious. I only wish I had been able to sample the roast lamb, because I am certain that they bring to that signature dish the quality and care it deserves. Staff very pleasant and attentive. Good wines too.More

This is the right way to do young roast lamb: in a wood-fired clay oven, slow and juicy. The skin is crispy, garlicky and salty, the meat tender and moist and pale. It's how it used to be done in the olden days, and I'm...happy to report they still follow the old tradition here at the Panadero in Sepúlveda. Nice wines on the list, not too extensive but good for the offerings on the menu. The dining room upstairs was quite pleasant.More
