Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you drive, I think this restaurant is good. At first, we want to have our lunch at 野之花. Unluckily, it is closed. We search another restaurant in trip advisor. It is found that this restaurant ranks number two in this island. There is plenty of parking space. The restaurant is not big and there is not many people. Only one choice of food in the restaurant. No menu. Big size or regular size of noodle. I order big for me :)

Business was good when we arrive at 1pm. Couldn't secure a reservation for the workshop which was a pity because it looked really fun and educational. The soumen was delicious. Please note it is not served with meat. They have a section selling dried noodles and sauces which you can prepare at home.. prices are very reasonable and they taste great!

My wife and I cycled to Nakabuan to try out somen noodle making and sample our creation. We called the same morning and were able to reserve a spot at lunch time. Due to the location, we could also combine this with our visit to the Yamaroku shoyu factory, which worked out great as they are less than 5 minutes away (about 10 minutes walking).
It cost 1000 yen for the tour and noodle lunch, which was more than worth it. The guy running the tour was funny and informative, and definitely passionate about somen. He understood some very basic english, but if you know Japanese this will be much more enjoyable. Still, you can follow along with images and probably understand the basics.
Making the noodles was a little stressful, but really fun and actually quite a simple process. We took loads of photos and had a great time! Lunch was a big bowl of fresh somen with sauce and some toppings - very simple but delicious. We would absolute recommend this activity to others.
