The Jolly Sailor is a public house on the Cleddau Estuary, south facing with sunny lawned areas, and breath taking views and sunsets of the river. We have a rustic children's play area, parking, and a conservatory restraunt area overlooking the water. Also ther is a back bar with TV that is dog friendly There are always 2 real ales on offer as well as a range of different largers, ciders and Guinness. Our food is sourced locally as much as we can, and all the beef and lamb dishes are guaranteed Welsh. Most of our meat comes from award winning butcher , Andrew Rees of Narberth. Our menu consists of good traditional home cooked dishes, as well as desserts Food serving times are Mon to Fri 12.00…

Lovely friendly people serving good honest food. This is what 'pub grub' should be - great sized portions and a large choice of meals, We ate twice here during a recent holiday and would highly recommend it.
Visited on a Sunday evening. Booking recommended!
Decent if small range on the menu, but enough to please most, plus specials.
Went for Roast Welsh Lamb x2 - good choice! Plates came out hot and fully loaded with meat roasties and boiled spud with yorkie...pud and loads of gravy. Separately came mashed swede, mushy peas, carrots and cabbage and extra gravy .
Decent service and not forgotten about even though staff were busy.
Will let slide the cheesecake dessert which was still on the frozen side; actually quite enjoyed the challenge.
Will be returning before our holiday in the area is over for sure.More
Arrived after a 5 hour drive from London and it was amazing! We eat at many London establishments and this was proper home grub. The lamb was out of this world and the steak in the pie was great. The lamb cawl was outstanding and...the portions was huge. We have even booked again for a few days time on our trip!More
After discussing with staff a day previously about booking tables for 17 people wanting drinks and a meal we traveled over to the jolly sailor and was made to feel very unwelcome by I’m assuming the manager who said he can’t accommodate 17 meals. The...tables outside are first come first serve ,which we was aware of so we was there early waiting , we only needed 1 more table and he said we can’t have it. We are a local family and have heard bad press about the jolly sailor but disagreed with it as we usually like it. We will never set foot there again. A ruined 21st birthday for my boy.More
We ate here on the Friday and Saturday evenings of the August Bank Holiday. The pub was busy so a prebooking was vital. We were served good quality, hot food reasonably quickly. Staff are all very amiable and welcoming. Thank you to them.
We visited here Bank Holiday Weekend. Staff were really friendly and accommodating. Special thanks to owner Chris who fitted us in last minute. The food was delicious just wish we’d had space for dessert. Highly recommend and will definitely be visiting again. Stephen G &...Katie HMore
We were booked in elsewhere but cancelled by them last minute, the lovely lady at the desk managed to find a table for all of us to celebrate a birthday meal We were offered the bar but last minute we managed to get inside the...main restaurant. We were not disappointed the view was amazing. Drinks order taken quickly, plenty of gin to choose from! Food order taken by the same lady she had very good knowledge of the most popular meals to chose from, even spoke about the available desserts so we could leave some space.More
