Can't fault this wonderful find in the middle of nowhere! Great knowledgeable wait staff, extensive menu & drinks list, well presented & cooked food & welcoming surroundings. Would recommend to all & come back in a flash.

Cute wee place, lovely garden and store. Friendly front of store staff. However the ‘summer salad’ is a total waste of money, disgusting. It’s suppose to be vegan and GF, basically just lettuce and spinach. Came with two pieces of cubed kumera and a strawberry....Covered in supposed “vegan” mayo. Total waste of money, would not recommend for vegans or anyone with dietary needs.More

This cafe is a beautifully converted school house. They advertise that their food is all from local producers. I believe it; our lamb burgers were superb.

Lovely setting, quaint building, Nice waitress, but limited options and average food. The ‘Home style’ chips just looked like chips from a packet. $14 ! And look how many we got 🤔

This is a wonderful place - and something of an oasis as it was the only cafe open to eat at when we stayed in the Chaslands! This charming cafe is in an old school house set in beautiful surrounds. Great space for the kids...to run around outside. Beautiful food, lovely souvenirs and great service. We'll be back next time!More

We stayed in Curio Bay and this is the only cafe nearby (10-15 minute drive). Good menu, nice coffee, nice people, nice setting.

We stopped here for a coffee and cake after having a disappointing meal at a nearby cafe, the coffee and cake was delicious, the staff were very friendly and efficient, there were a lot of people here having lunch, the blackboard specials sounded inviting and...the food being served looked nice, we will definitely be going back here for a meal.More
