We had a great day at the "Taittinger Lounge" at "Later aan Zee". We have pampered ourselves with that long-awaited vacation touch just a hand distance away from home. We have had the whole day a proper guest service, bedlinen over the lounger, tasty wine and water included in the price of the sunbed and a very delicious linner.
The staff was very well mannered, friendly, paying attention to details and caring for our careless good times' experience.
While my Dutch half went for the more traditional "kroketjes" he still claims that they were absolutely delicious. I, on the other hand, had one of the best "not made at home" salads, which was the grilled tuna salad. It was a perfectly grilled to medium-rare tuna steak over a bed of luxury greens, soybeans, radish, cucumber and sesame seeds.
All menu items were exceptionally balanced in price vs. quality relation.
The screen protection against the wind at the lounge area did a fantastic job in keeping us warm and while the beach was empty, considering that it was one of the windy and not so warm days, we had a splendid time enjoying the warm sunshine beams in a relaxing atmosphere while listening to soft lounge music vibes and getting tanned.

Good all round. Although it was busy, there were always enough service staff there and they took care of everything quickly. Drinks came quickly and the food was good and didn't take ages. The location is really nice and cozy. Perfect as a place to eat for two, with the family or just to go out for a drink.

What a pleasant dinner facing the sea at Bistro & Grill Later aan Zee. Ribs, burgers and salad, everything was nice and the service (by young students) was just fine.
We will come again, no doubt.

Too bad experience. Understand that summer is busy, staff difficult, but this was intense. With 7 people dining out including children. Asking for booze tens of times while glasses were empty, food all came one after another and the last got his food more than half an hour after the first. Everyone had already finished their food and he had yet to start. Moreover, the fries that came with the main course were brought after eating the main course (as mustard.....) . Wasn't exactly cozy eating out !!!! Too bad for the young boys in the ministry who can't help themselves!!!! They were clearly young and inexperienced but did their very best!!!

The service was far from here, there was no one in the area to be seen to order anything at all. After paying €40 for a bed where they are happy to promote good service and that you can order there, everything is worth less. A big disappointment. You better put your money elsewhere.

We could have reserved a place in advance and everything had already been discussed. There was immediately a good and warm welcome. The snacks were fantastic. It was a very sunny day and therefore busy, but the staff did everything they could to make us happy. Great beautiful spacious beach tent with many relaxation options. Food was fine. To be repeated.

Had the fish and chips. What a delicious meal! Fish was cooked to perfection!! Staff were friendly, promot and courteous. Relaxed, and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend this place.

Quite a good meal, but having spent about 40 euros on 4 food items, a tea and a coffee, we asked for a cup of hot water, they refused. Very stingy.

At the beach in Bloemendaal, this is a good option to spend a sunny day.
They have very comfortable beds that you can rent in order to sunbath and you have option to move to the tables for lunch or stay in your bed to have a meal (which some people prefere). There are chairs in the sand, closer to the beach as well.
Their food has good quality and options.
Most of the staff have this relax beach spirit to be friendly with clients, but at the same time they are effective. This is our favorite place when the weather allowed enjoying a bit the Dutch beach.

bad tent. Makes no sense. We had a party here and there were 100 people outside who were really looking forward to it. saying that there was a wet season when this was not indicated anywhere. Never going there is not worth it.
