Focal Point Cinema is Levin's very own award winning boutique movie theatre complete with fully licenced coffee and wine bar open 7 days from 8:00am. Focal Point brings together high quality, modern cinema entertainment, a plush 1920's décor, fantastic comfort, and a warm friendly atmosphere. Focal Point also has a fantastic coffee and wine bar which offers café dining, great coffee (Allpress) and a range of premium wines and beers. A delicious range of food is available throughout the day, plus we offer a range of tasty platters that can be shared amongst friends as you relax with a drink of your choice. Focal Point Cinema is available for group functions, private bookings, conference groups, and children's birthday parties. A tasty buffet roast dinner or light finger food can be offered for group bookings. Out-catering services are also available.

We visit here on a semi regular basis and the staff are always friendly and helpful, the food is fresh,tasty and well priced. The surroundings are kept clean and tidy and parking and access are good. On this occasion we had an Italian share platter prior to watching a movie, a great way to start our date night. The only negative side (and its not insurmountable is the mobility access to toilets and theater- its clumsy and ill-conceived BUT, the staff are always helpful and will assist if called upon. Animals are welcome in the dedicated (coveres) alfresco area and water is provided for dogs

Oh I wish I'd photographed my meal.

On a road trip to a family event with my Mother and Brother. They had been here before so they knew that we would be in a good place. Mum had the cheese melt which looked good for a light meal. My Brother had the omelette which looked very nice and he really enjoyed it too. I went for the eggs benedict, with bacon. I wish I took a photo of it before I started but too late now. It looks great and is about the best I have ever had. Crisp toasted bread, lots of bacon and the best eggs ever. The eggs, which were perfectly cooked, had beautiful orange yokes. So yummy. The coffee was excellent but everything seems ordinary after the eggs benny!!! Hoping to stop in again on the return journey.

Dinner and movie

Went twice in two nights: once for dinner and once for a movie. Salmon meal was a very generous serving with some well cooked root veges. (The cream sauce was perhaps slightly over bearing). Plenty of locals eating which is surely a good sign... The staff were notably friendly and prompt on both nights, a real credit to the place!

Obviously this is a very popular place for people to come for a meal, and I believe most customers enjoy it, perhaps if not the service. However it is supposed to be a cinema and a cafe. So would you not think that if people are coming JUST to see a film they should be served in preference to those just wanting food? After all they advertise a start time for a film so to spend 20 minutes in a queue listening to customers repeating their order because the staff simply don't listen to what is being said to them or watching the staff make a mess of the till as the minutes tick away to the start time of the film that you have made a special effort to come out and see, is nothing other than totally unprofessional and less and extremely frustrating. 10 minutes after the film I went to see had started I was still in the queue watching the member of staff show the customer on the till what was wrong! At this point I simply bailed!!!! Either run the cinema, or run a café, you obviously can't do both. This is not the first time this has happened, as it's happened before in the past, and I'm guessing it will continue to happen in the future. So if you are coming for a film just be aware that you might not end up seeing it

12.20 movie out, ordered coffee and pizza and wedges. coffee was delivered in a reasonable time frame but sadly both cups were tepid. we waited and waited and waited for our pizza and wedges which arrived 30 min later. i wonder if this is normally this slow? i paid good money for a family pass and i’m over having to be watching numerous adverts prior to the movie starting , especially when taking younger children to a child’s movie.i didn’t pay you good money to watch advertisements thank

Awful Restaurant, although staff were very friendly and service was good. The food.... Entrees were ok, my pork belly main was so dry almost inedible and my husbands steak actually wasn't too bad and our friends fish and chips were very average. The vegetables were just awful, stewed comes to mind. Never again.

I would say yuck. No thought has gone into the meals. I feel ripped off. Pork burger was dry. The pork was deep fried in a batter. Is that what you call crispy Pork? Salad was Rocket only with not much else. Come on step up and present good meals. We will never go back. To be a chef you need pride in what you cook.

Not nice meal 👎

Went last night to see the Barbie movie. Decided to have dinner there first. We waited a long time for our meal. I had the pork belly bites & salad from the cabinet. Asked if I wanted that bought out together- yes please. Salad never arrived after asking 2 staff was it coming I had to go and ask myself- finally the bought it to me. It had been forgotten about and left in the oven! Absolutely uneatable. Asked for money back.It wasn’t even busy

My daughter took me there to say thank you for everything I do for her. Not impressed at all. Order a cup of coffee and toasted sandwiches. Took 40 min for it to be served. Presentation was very bad. Also saw them heating it up in the microwave. My first time at Cafe.

Great coffee spot

Good coffee and really nice food. I had the scrambled eggs on toast, done really nice. Good quiet spot to meet friends for a coffee. Service was also very good.

This us the second time we have been here and it was worthwhile trying to find out where it was. Lovely food, polite helpful staff and a nice atmosphere. We will be back

Best resturant ever

Go here regularly for lunch. Mainly with a friend or two. We love this place. Very friendly staff and beautiful food. The liver and bacon is to die for!

Lovely atmosphere!

Thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere here, the staff were all extremely polite and accommodating. Loved the Fish n Chips and so did my wife. Will 100% be returning here!
