Although this Restaurant seems to be at the end of the World, it is worth going to. It has excellent regional food. There were 8 of us and everyone enjoyed the food. The first ones are all excellent, the second ones; The beef entrecĂ´te (on the bone) is the best I have ever eaten, as is the free-range chicken and the baked lamb. Good quality homemade desserts, highlighting the hazelnut millefeuille. It has a large wine cellar of all prices. The kindness of the service to highlight, they improvised some candles for my anniversary that I could not celebrate with music due to the Pandemic. We were all very happy with the meeting, the only negative thing was that I had to pay. (may I do it for many years) A meal not to forget. I recommend this Restaurant if you are in the area, but book in advance.

It is a fantastic mountain restaurant, located in the small town of LlessuĂ, far from any passing route, so it is advisable to reserve, since it has been well known throughout the region for more than 50 years. He remains faithful to Catalan cuisine made with local products, but he has been modernizing his recipes, the result of his experience and the contrast with his customers. Examples of this are their sausages, the codony allioli, the palpĂs, the colt meat and especially the dessert they invented: the filiberto. The excellent service complements the quality of the product and seeing the third generation at work predicts continued success for the restaurant.

The menu includes dishes from Pallaresa cuisine and is extensive enough to make you doubt which dish to choose. There are also dishes of the day off the menu that are equally attractive. We arrived at 1:45 p.m. with a reservation and they attended to us quite quickly despite being packed to capacity. Excellent food and very careful presentation. Another separate chapter is the behavior of the clientele. We met a table of at least 20 people who didn't stop talking loudly, turning a quiet meal into a tremendous scandal. Impossible to have a conversation. (August 11, 2023) Anyway. It is already known that when a dining room is full...

Very nice place, with good views, indoor dining room or terrace, both options are very good. Menu with local products, Pallars cuisine with very good quality and the best thing is that they always have some excellent dishes off the menu depending on the season. Very attentive and well managed staff.

Pleasant surprise in a restaurant that the owner of the apartment in Las Picardes (Espot) recommended to us. It has a menu with dishes that cannot be found elsewhere. And at a reasonable price for what they offer. We ordered a mushroom scramble, spinach and cod cannelloni (with a lot of bechamel), a daina stew (a type of deer that surprised me how sweet it was) and a good-sized steak, accompanied with a small board on which there were salts. of different kinds (like a smoked one, another rose, pepper,...). And to top it off, some delicious desserts: a Catalan cream foam with limoncello and chocolate cake with Maria cookie ice cream. We're looking forward to trying more things, so we'll look for an excuse to stop by.

First of all, clarify that this restaurant is in LLESUI. I knew it because of its fame 50 years ago, but the communications (horrible roads) were bad even though we have a second residence 45km away. Finally we decided to visit. A classic at 1,400 meters. height. Very attentive staff and a cozy room. The menu…….you have to go try it. I will return in April and May

We requested water from the tap, as it is mandatory by the Spanish law since a couple of years, and first they put all kinds of excuses, and finally when they brought it, it had bleach (lejia). Basically, once they realized that we knew the law and they would not be able to charge for the water, they fought the tap water, but with bleach. I drank just a bit, but my friend drank more and we had to go to the doctor, as she did not feel well. Obviously, we will not go back, and will initiate the corresponding legal actions, because first, it is mandatory for them to provide tap water, and second, it is very mean, and even dangerous for the customer what they did.

On the recommendation of friends who live in the region, we made the short drive from Sort to Llessui taking-in the picture postcard villages of Altron, Sorre and SaurĂ on the way. After a visit to the Ecomuseu dels Pastors - more interesting than the idea of a musuem dedicated to shepherds might initially suggest - we arrived for our pre-booked lunch at 2pm. The restaurant is not small but gets pretty busy, so booking ahead is not a bad idea. Catalan food is pretty hearty and filling at the best of times and the further away from the coast you go, the meatier and heartier it seems to get. The owners of Casa Kiko are butchers as well as restauranteurs and told us that they prepare all the meat on the menu in-house. The results are amazing. To start, we shared a platter of cold cuts and cheese. No faffing around with pre-prepared slices, you get a chopping board and knife and are welcome to cut off as much formatge, secallona, llonganissa and bull blanc as you like. They bill you based on what's left - and expect you to tell them when you're done, no rush. With the unlimited bread, pate and alioli de cordony on the side, it's easy to leave nothing at all, but the best is yet to come. The main course offers a raft of locally sourced meats, we had cabrit and pollĂ - and aubergines stuffed with meat and wild mushrooms; all delicious. The easy-going, no hurry atmosphere gave us time to digest just enough meat product to create space for the wonderful home made puddings - top prize went to the house special baked alaska with home made ice cream flambeed with whiskey. Service was friendly and informative - the menu needed a bit of explaining - and the surroundings are homely and comfortable. Excellent value for money, we paid around 35 euros a head, wine included. And didn't feel the need to eat another thing until breakfast the next day!
