I recently visited this venue for a business dinner and it was a great experience. Lovely food and great wine. The service was perfect and the waiter was very friendly and provided the right suggestions to let us enjoy our dinner.

Celebrated my birthday with my son, his wife and two grandchildren. The salad portions as an entrée were plentiful and the pumpkin soup with curry was delicious and nice and spicy. The tartar was simply top notch and the Wiener schnitzel was large, tender and with a light coating, just as it should be. Unfortunately, the veal liver was in the pan a little too long and was therefore cooked through and no longer pink. The white wine risotto that was served with it was rather average in terms of taste. The large Happy Birthday plate with vermicelli, meringues and whipped cream and 5 spoons was excellent and very nicely presented. Thank you for the great idea! The extremely friendly and attentive service also deserves special mention.

We were hear for a celebration in a large group. The food is quite good but not exceptional. I had a mixed salad, then a ribeye steak. The steak was reasonably good and came with three sets of condiments. My choice of side dishes was french fries which were crispy. I liked the desert a pear sorbet with some pear eau-de-vie. We were seated outside.

We were a group of 10 people.
The reception and service during our entire stay was friendly, courteous and professional.
The food was good, unfortunately the meat was no longer warm. What a pity. The atmosphere after the renovation is rustic/modern. You feel comfortable.

Nice presentation of food and overall ambiance. We were here with a dozen coworkers. Everyone seemed to have enjoyed their dinner. Service was good and the deserts were also beautifully decorated and presented.
I personally liked my steak dish but felts it had too much butter. Fish dishes seemed a better choice.

expensive but on Mondays you can eat an entrecote for CHF 32.- which is a good price. Parking is available, service is pleasant and proffesional.

We came for a conference with lunch to this traditional restaurant in the heart of Wallisellen.
All service personnel was very friendly and helpful.
Coffees, croissant and lunch incl. drinks tasted great and were well presented.

It was great to go back to the Doktorhaus, and the food was OK, but though I wasn't expecting the same experience as before, I was expecting it to be as good. But the only things that were as high as before were the quality of the service - same waiter - and the wine, but also the price. The menu is smaller. The innovative dishes have gone. No seasonal menu (no game!), no strong flavours, no combinations on a theme (soups, desserts, etc.). No fine crockery. But worst of all, no other concept to replace all these things, to be as good but in a different way. From dining experience to local bar / restaurant in a year. What a shame.

This restaurant seems to have all the pre-requisites to provide a wonderful dining experience. Unfortunately they slipped on a simple pasta dish (first time without salt, second time soaking in oil). Disappointing.

My most recent visit was with work colleagues, but have been several times over the past 5 years with my wife as well as family. The Dokterhaus never disappoints with perfect service, great food (especially their tasting menus) and a good wine selection at reasonable prices for Switzerland. The garden is great on a sunny day, but equally lovely is the cost traditional inside in the colder months. Well worth visiting and lovely to have a top restaurant outside the center of Zurich.

If you find yourself outside of Zurich- Wallisellen is the right place if you are looking for your next gourmet corner.
Stationed right in the center of Wallisellen- Doktorhaus will bring you on a next level- very tasty dishes arranged with chief's imagination. Combined with an outside lounge bar you have all the right excuses to stay there till the dawn.

We went hear for a dinner a very long flight. The food from starters to the main course was delicious. Server was very helpful in explaining the dishes in English. Will definitely visit again!
