Okonomiyakis are great and there’s a lot of choices. You need to prepare them yourselves but that’s part of the fun :)

SakuraTei in Shibuya is a very large restaurant with over 150/seating capacity over two floors. Each table has a teppanyakki plate to make your own food. The staff are few in number and yet efficient. The challenge is conveying what you want as all speak...More

Thank you very much for coming, happy to hear you had such a good time and thanks for the glowing review! We do have some English speaking staff; on most days at least one member of staff should be able to speak English.

My first time making this delicious pancake-ish concoction - super fun! Would eat again. But maybe not for a while because Tokyo is inconvenient for me.

Exciting discovery of this restaurant in the small streets of Harajukku area! DIY of okonomiyaki and Monjayaki makes our meal so kua has more interesting. Tastes yummy! You flavor with your own sauces to your like

We loved eating here. My husband was dying to try the “Japanese pancake” and we are glad we did! It is very much not a pancake aside from its shape. We ordered the traditional/modern one which had cabbage, noodles, eggs, squid, scallops, pork and more....More

Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the
Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops
that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest
areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's
Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to
recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh
yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast,
Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool.

You can pick and choose your contents, but it usually needs an egg to bind all the ingredients together. Can you have eggs?
