We were on Christmas Day with 8 people, two of them young children visiting the "Italian".
With typical Italian friendly and family flair, absolutely delicious food from Italian, or rather Sardinian cuisine was served. Whether pizza, spaghetti or meat dish, everything was extremely tasty.
We felt very comfortable and also had a lot of fun thanks to the service staff.

Run by a family from Sardinia- this was a first rate experience with Italian food. Service friendly and helpful and food first rate and all freshly made. Bruschettas were great ,the tiramisu, homemade and superb! Pasta dishes well prepared and very large. Full bar available. Treated to coffee after meal, we shared thoughts about family and food.

New owner for about 2 years, very friendly and polite.
The food was always very good.
My friends love it too.
Right next to a city fountain. Very nice to sit outside in the summer.
Very good beer, which is rather an exception in the area (but that's a matter of taste), even absolutely drinkable without alcohol.

La Fontana is located in town center. If You choose table on street, You can enjoy Ichenhausens old town milieu with glass of wine without walking around there… We spend there few hours for dinner with our family. All ordered different foods and everyone was happy; even kids. Especially good was sauce made of local mushrooms (dont know their english name - sorry). House wine was excellent! Also, the staff was friendly and helpful, plus bonus - we go all our meals quite quickly. And - everything was with normal price! Strongly recommended place!

Found by chance while visiting nearby Legoland.We ate there 2nights running! We enjoyed the friendly service and the food was very reasonably priced.They even cooked a special pasta dish for our grandson. Their menu was extensive and varied not just pizza and pasta but more traditional style dishes.If we ever go back to the area we would go there again without question.
