My wife and I had lunch here and it was very good. I had the eggs and beans and it was huge. The beans we home style made on premises not baked beans from a can. My wife had the pancakes and they were very good too. The prices are reasonable especially when compared to the other options in town.... More

What an amazing surprise!!! Great food (big portions) great location, great people. We were staying at the Hilton Spa & Resort in Queenstown and the Concierge told us that if your in Glenorchy not to miss eating at the cafe - great advice. We had spent the next morning in Glenorchy kayaking on Lake Wakatipu. Finishing around noon, with pretty... More

We had driven over from Queenstown and loved the scenery. We ordered coffees (all excellent) and a pice of the home made berry crumble, which was divine. All reasonably priced too.

Had a coffee and a piece of pie, both quite good. The view in the back garden is really nice. The downside is it's quite busy, so it might take a while to get your order.

We first visited this cafe after tramping the Routeburn track 4 years ago. It has not changed thankfully. Very busy but still great service with a smile and the food still fantastic, best sandwiches for miles.

Despite being busy the wait was really short and the service efficient and really friendly. Coffee was great and the food menu top notch. We had a variety of meals among the 8 of us and all came out together.

We had lunch here after a fantastic Dart River jetboat trip and hike. Their roasted veggie sandwich was excellent - a big pile of deliciousness on fantastic homemade bread. My husband had the pancakes and said they were some of the best he's ever had. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I hope we can go back again someday!

Had a great lunch at this cafe. Sat outside in the garden with fantastic views of mountains and lake. Helped by lovely weather but it is the second time we've been there and its great in any weather. Lovely spot.

Stopped here on our way to an activity and had a lovely cake with our tea & coffee. Staff were very nice and we were able to enjoy our refreshments outside in the fresh air. Worth stopping here!

Thank Donald M
