Highlight by far was the brûlée and the fat chips were ok if it wasn't for the chili sauce. Setting was pleasant but the rest of the meal was sub standard. Chicken dry, beef in the tacos tasted like cardboard they were so dry and...More

After looking around the small market we headed here for an earlyish lunch. This old pub has a great facade with outdoor tables in booth style and heaters to take the winter chill off. Deciding to eat inside where we thought it would be warmer...More

It was a Sunday drive that took us here. It's a rustic pub with contemporary touches. It works. The chalk board advertised mulled wine cider, I ordered that, it was served warm and it was a generous amount. I never had it before and don't...More

Way more than pub food. The burger are high standard. I had a dish of beef cheek, bone marrow and beetroot, cooked in the peat, it was just excellent.

Ordered the southern fried Chicken, chicken was cooked well but they managed to mess up coleslaw and cornbread. Otherwise amazing service and a nice cosy atmosphere.
