Duatiga is a restaurant located in the heart of Canggu (near Berawa beach) and is a populair place for freelancers and digital nomads.
There is an airconditioned inside area next to the bar and a massive covered outside area with fans on the first floor. Lots of natural light, good WiFi, good service and always other freelancers around.
The menu offers a wide variety of food (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and drinks. The main cuisine is Thai and Western. My ‘go to’ meal was a smoothie bowl, since it is one of the most affordable ones in the area and of really high quality. What I like most about the menu is that every single meal includes the service charges so you won’t be surprised when paying the bill.
The waiters at Duatiga are really helpful and able to answer any questions or requests. When I had my last meal before leaving to my next destination, one of the baristas made my coffee say ‘have a nice flight’ which was an amazing last gesture.

Went to Duatiga few times (mostly for work meeting) and I'm a big fan of their all-day brunch menu, love love love the fact that I can mix and match whatever I want to have on my plate with decent price. The food was yummy as!
However, I noticed that the internet always gone a tad too slow in the arvo but not a biggie I guess. :) Wouldn't stop me from coming back to grab a feed at Duatiga.

Duatiga is a tredy little healthy/Asian place in the heart of berawa's JL Pantai Berawa.
The food is tasty and the atmosphere is friendly and inviting. The staff are very friendly are happy to make modifications to the meal (nut allergies etc).
The Thai and Vietnamese food is not super authentic but its very tasty regardless.
It's convenient, tasty and and a great place to relax and meet people.

Great Indo European food that’s exceptionally tasty and hot instead of the cold dishes that we’ve been served around Ubud. The juice menu offers really good immune booster drinks to prep you for your next flights to wherever your destinations might be.
Service is very friendly, the modern design is open and breezy, the music is great, and being on the second floor gives you a break from the action below, without being too far away from it.
We went for lunch and dinner, and everyone is happy from ethnic taste grandma to burgers and fries for my 9yo nephew.

Our Villa was just around the corner from Duatiga so we visited often for take-way coffees and pastries. One of the rare places having soy milk! We loved the interior deco vibe, the chill outdoor courtyard and cool murals. Never too packed and staff always attentive. We sampled brekkie, lunch and dinners here, heaps of options with Asian fusion flare and kids meals too. Our son loved the Mac & cheese, we loved the tapas sharing menu - tuna tartare, satays and duck pancakes all delicious.

Very nice place with lots of vegetarian & healthy options, among more traditional recipes. All day breakfasts, we will come back just for that as we really want to try them after the nice lunch experience we had. Protein bowl and fried pork belly were tasty and prepared with fresh tasty ingredients we highly recommend it !

This is a Vietnamese and thai fusion Restauraunt and the food is superb. It also does a great breakfast. And the staff are super friendly. Add to that Duatega is very reasonably priced.
That’s why it became our local the entire time we were in Canggu.

Had lunch here and it was nice. Cool open restaurant up the top in a good location. Food was good and drinks were nice. Staff were friendly.

Great food, lovely experience. Definitely will be coming back. I recommend Rendang beef, also tuna steak was very tasty. Definitely place to try!

Very disappointed with the food at this cafe We ordered Beef Rendang -meat very tough and not able to chew Also ordered Madras Vegetable Curry Received a bowl full of very bland coconut milk which had curry wafted over the top Vegetables barely cooked If we had this served to us back home it would have been sent back to the kitchen On a brighter note the orange juice was good and the staff super friendly and helpful

How to lost a loyal customer in 3 days.
Discovered the place by myself. It feels nice for the first look.
Day 1st I got brekkie deal. Asked for the caremed latte with syrup on side. Been said ++12k extra (double + they doing system with extra taxes which I really can’t understand. What stops you guys just in include all the taxes to the price line almost whole the world does. You are not the only country who pay taxes tho). Okay, I was nice with this until I started discovered the menu where was mention regular latte 45+, caramel 35+. So damn why I have to pay ++12k more for the cheaper position as it was clear mention in the menu? Weird, isn’t it? Asked waited lady, she couldn’t answer. Just bumbled something. Not a big deal, I didn’t bother her much with questions anymore, not my style. Just messaged for the IG account to asked about the case. Been answered much later that menu is wrong. Not my fault, isn’t it? Been offered a latte but didn’t take this time. That’s nice.
After first ordered latte came with syrup inside oversweetened AH, my request to bring syrup on side been happily ignored which made latte undrinkable at all. Asked to change. Food was nice. Ordered a salad later, also nice.
Day 2.
Got different brekkie, got regular coffee. Later got complimentary coffee with partly dry tiramisu. Dry, u got? Tiramisu can’t be try. It was just a sponge cake. Not great, so do not recommend to order. Soda was nice. Also manager showed up himself with apologies about menu mistake.
Day 3.
Got different kind of brekkie and coffee. Finished the meal. Was kinda dry. when I took a sip of coffee through a tube, a puree flew into my mouth instead of coffee. Asked for the explanation wtf, been feed with “sorry sorry” from staff. You guys feed me someone’s leftovers and just sorry? Are you kidding? Asked for manéger, been answered “he is busy”. Busy, really? Asked for anyone who taking responsibility while manager is not managing the place, been told no one is here. So everything can happen and no authorities at the place. Kinda funny. So no one at the place to figure out any force majors, staff clearly confused, manager not managing. Owners happy with this model of working.
Since it’s not a first issue with the place and it was 0 reaction at the time when reaction and actions were needed, and no one from administration at the restaurant, they literally just abandoned staff on the place due everything can happen, I counted it like the place don’t really care about quality of service and food which in fact strictly disappointing me as customer. To say for manager “I’m busy” while you have troubles at your work places it’s absolutely disgusting and poor management I met.
-1 one star for the leftovers it my drink, dirty straw with someone’s juice or whatever
-1 one star for the management which is not at the working place and no solution about terrible situation, just abandoned staff who is not responsible and can’t offer any solutions even to connect a couple of words to explain this case
-1 one star for the owner who backing this policy of work and happy with it
-1 star for the charging me full price even after such a disgusting situation, but as I said it’s poor management issues, waiters got they salary for the different things, why manager who is absent have a salary — it’s a huge question here
Would love to cut one more star for my ruined mood and work day but all stars left to cut. Will never ever be back here. Maybe all for the best cuz the place made me free to explore different more convince places in the town, who care about customers and reputation.
Summary: poor irresponsible management and ownership.

The team at Duatiga in Ubud are so welcoming and provide excellent service. The food is very fresh, with lot's of variety catering for all diet requirements. The coffee was exceptional and professionally made. A great spot in the evening for dinner and a live band. As someone with both Lactose and Gluten intolerance I was very surprised to find many choices on the 4 plus pages on the menu.
Super clean environment and was pleasantly surprised to find air-conditioning in the toilets....once again over and above...
Highly recommended, give them a try, you won't be disappointed...will be back...
