Nice setting, friendly service but the kitchen closed pretty early after lunch. The manager did kindly heat up some soup for us. Great coffee,

We had a nice lunch here but as usual the only drink available to a non tea or coffee drinking diabetic was water. There was a nice range of fruit juices and sodas but nothing that was low in sugar.

We came up to Collingwood to do a tour of Farewell Spit and decided we needed a coffee. I'm so glad we did. This was a real gem of a place, a converted court house with all the character of the early 1900s but now paying court to visitors from all over the world. The coffee was excellent, the food... Travelled all over the South Island and Australia. The cappuccino and savoury scones were the best anywhere. 'Missing them back in Canada.

We first visited this place on the way back from Puponga and just pooped in for a cuppa. We had the most delicious muffin, a blueberry and cream cheese one and it was packed with flavour and berries. We returned another day for lunch and enjoyed a pie and salad and a zucchini and salami slice with salad, both very... More

We stopped in for lunch on our way back to Nelson, the menu was limited but I decided on the beef burger and my wife the burrito. The burger was huge and seriously tasty! This wasn't something you could pick up so a knife and fork is needed here. The burrito was of decent size aswell and pretty tasty. If... More

Worth a visit to this cute unusual cafe in South Island. We sat in the garden for our lunch, and they make all their own dishes.

We stopped in to try their pizza as we loved their burgers. Their pizza was severely lacking as they were very stingy with the toppings. Also, the pizza had very little flavor. We had The Verdict pizza. I suggest adding fresh apricots, more sauce, and pile on the rest of the current toppings. For $25, it was not a good... More
