We must have visited on a bad day. We ordered coffee and scones. The coffee was great however the scones were not. The scones were like rock cakes even heated up. I thought my homemade scones were bad and i wouldn't sell mine and these...were worse - which made us laugh. On the bright side the serving staff were lovely and a pleasant setting outside.More

My wife and I had a lovely cup of coffee and a snack here. The staff were brilliant, especially as they were coping with COVID Level 2 restrictions, the coffee was delicious, and the snacks were home made and wonderful. Couple all of that with...a beautiful heritage building, great gardens to sit in, and you have the perfect mix for a great place to rest and eat.More
I had a mocha here twice! Was soooo good, I am very picky! The cafe has a nice vibe indoors and outdoor. Beautiful flowers and antiques in the cafe. Love the idea that no takeaway cups are used only eco cups. Not too far from...were we were staying in wharariki beach worth the drive!More

The coffee was good and they were able to provide soy milk alternatives for the two lactose intolerant group members....There was even a small nail polish tucked into the plant in the centre of the table, if you felt so inclined while you enjoyed the beautiful weather and atmosphere.More
