Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
Wow, wow, wow! This activity is the best kept secret in Manhattan.
We visited NYC for eight days with friends and opted for the seven day metro card at $32 it was one of the best purchases we made. It meant we could use it on The Roosevelt Island Tramway. Unaware of its existence we heard of it via friends....
Definitely worth visiting this lovely interactive design museum. Probably the best I have ever visited. Spend an hour or two. The building itself is also lovely. However the staff are too busy with their smartphones to help or do their job. Shame. The cafe is not worth a visit.
What can be said about this fabulous restaurant?
From the moment you walk through the revolving doors to being seated at your table, to the food is an experience that one can describe but unless you're actually there is difficult to describe.
Our server Mynor was attentive, polite and always making sure your every need was looked after before you...
Fantastic cupcakes. My all time favorite cupcake is the seasonal flavored banana cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. Carrot is pretty good as a secondary. I haven't tried anything besides the cupcakes, but they're all fantastic, and at a great price point!
Always wanted to visit this place. Was thrilled during a recent trip to NYC when a local friend of mine asked to take me there. Great cocktails. Wonderful ambiance. Musicians were so talented. Can’t wait to go back!
I will stay at the Pierre again just to have Maurice and Abraham help me with recommendations and reservations. They made my stay so pleasant!! From check-in to check-out the Pierre is a first class destination hotel. I traveled alone and felt completely safe. There is security and an elevator operator 24 hours a day so there is absolutely no...
Excellent and lovely stay. Had breakfast there everyday for a week prior and the service was so good we decided to move into the hotel for a night after a stay in a nearby apartment. Had a very nice upgraded room with a little difficulty with the AC. An engineer came relatively promptly and gave us a whole new AC...

The hotel is perfect in every way: location, services, rooms, suites, all great! The staff is really lovely and helpful and kind. Rooms are spacious with many amenities. Good wine for free between 5-6pm and coffee in the morning. It is a home away from home.
