Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
We walked over to Selfridges, then up to Manchester Square and there it was. Entrance was free and we were just stunned. What a fantastic collection of everything, decorative items, armor (too much for my taste), and paintings. This was probably around our 20th visit to London and we had never been there before, although it had been on our...
Almost made a big mistake by not having Matleybone on a radar of areas in London to vist. Got there by mistake....best error ever! Teenager loved walking around the area and restaurants are great... plan it 8nto your itinerary
Gotta admit, I didn't go. I gave my husband directions, and I took off for Harrods. Prioorities, right? He had no trouble getting there by bus from our hotel (I have him printed directions) and he spent a very enjoyable hour or so there. He thought I would have loved it, too.
My wife and I were fortunate to be hosted recently for a lunch in the Wintergreen restaurant at the Landmark. We live close by and have used the hotel on many occasions during the last decade. However, I would say that the service in the hotel as a whole and the quality of food in the restaurant has risen considerably...
I have never been to a restaurant with such big menu. You can choose between EUROPE - INDIA - FAR EAST and MEDITERRANEAN. My choice was India and it was very good. The restaurant has white table-clothes and napkins very attentive waiters, and there was even a very nice singer. All this made a very memorable and special evening.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. The best restaurant in Central London and the best one I have been in Uk! actually. The food is outstanding, they master the combination of flavours and the presentation. The service was also fantastic and very good and affordable wines.
Very positive experience never been here before but it lived up to its ratings
Service throughout could not be faulted both for efficiency and friendliness
Menu was varied four of us all had different starters and main courses and all were thoroughly enjoyed
Nice home made biscuits with coffee rounded off excellent meal
Excellent food, excellent drink, fantastic staff/customer service and an excellent manager running the show. Definitely worth many more visits in the future. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit here.
Our Directors were delighted with everything at The Arch where we hold the occasional board meeting.
The location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from Oxford Street, and we are always very impressed with the service from everyone in the team. The working lunch is also pretty amazing.
All in all we wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Arch which...
