The red brick Lighthouse at Two Harbors. The oldest Light in Minnesota built in 1892! There is also a small B&B, gift shop and museum on site.
On the left, the Edgar B Speer. 1005 feet long and 105 feet wide the 2nd largest ship on The Lakes only behind the Queen Of The Lakes Paul Tregurtha. On the right the John G Munson, about the same size as the Edmund Fitzgerald in 1975 at 730 feet long and 70 feet wide. Both Lakers are being loaded with Taconite at Two Harbors docks.
A very large, retired steam engine used by the Duluth Missabe & Iron Range Railroad to haul Iron Ore (Taconite) from the mines to Two Harbors for loading on the Lake Freighters

During our Summer visit to Duluth & Northern Minnesota, we spent a day driving the North Shore Scenic Drive. We've been to many of the most beautiful spots in this country and this is as good as any! As you leave Duluth and get on Old 61 Highway, you find yourself just yards
