Family friendly, efficient and excellent
Impeccable service in the garden bar after you get to choose your own table which is a great idea. Lovely selection of wines and beers. Amazing steak burger that was absolutely massive and yummy. My seafood, vege salad was all massive and such awesome value for money. Some much seafood pan fried fish, salmon, mussels, prawns etc etc! The new owners have really out done themselves and shorten the ridiculous large menu down to a two page double sided selection of Southlands best. Well done!

The Cabbage Tree has been the choice of many in Invercargill for a number of years. The food has always been generously lavished across the plate and this visit was no different. Very big menu from all day breakfast to steaks, seafood and salads. Scallops are always delicious…
