Quite extraordinary from every side
Old SNCF workshops
The entrance to the park and buildings
Set within a park that was previously railway sidings, the old railway buildings have been restored to provide a variety of uses from a cafe to spaces to support and encourage young artists. Outside of the old town of Arles, but separated only by a road it sits well in the landscape and does not detract from the wondrous Roman history of Arles. The entrance to it is through the old archway that was once SNCF now Parcs des Ateliers. More visits needed to see how different lights change it.
