Oh what amazing views, we wondered whether to go to the top but boy it was worth it. The waterfalls are amazing and as others have said I would recommend that you climb up the left hand side and come down the right hand side. This was one of our favourite walks on our Scotland holiday.

Great circular walk around the Falls of Bruar - depending on how you’re feeling, you can choose to do a shorter or longer version. Longer one took me about an hour and was worth it for the views and sound of the waterfalls. If it’s been raining a lot, the Falls will be more spectacular but boots would be advisable (I did it in boots and it did make it a bit easier in sections towards the top of the Falls).

What a wonderful little surprise to find when we needed a coffee break! A great high quality cafe/ restaurant / shopping mall with a clean but vibrant atmosphere. Well worth stopping even just to see it.

Lovely walk with beautiful scenery . Great tip from fellow reviewers to walk up the left hand side and down the right . Left hand side is steep and underfoot lots of tree roots and rocks Right hand side much easier terrain . Great circular walk but if not able just use the right hand side . It had been snowing when we did the walk so very beautiful indeed .

I joined my husband and friends at the start of the walk. This was at the back the House of Bruar, and I managed the first part of the walk, but as it got steeper I was unable to climb. So I left this to my husband and friends. I must admit I was rather jealous when they returned, but I enjoyed the river at the base, with fast running water. Peaceful and calming.

Nice way to spend an hour or so and the views are lovely. Quite steep (right hand side) but as long as you have decent footwear on it is absolutely fine. We followed signs from the House of Bruar car park and went up one side and down the other back into the car park.

Discover Blair Castle and go on a journey into the fascinating past of the Dukes and Earls of Atholl. Unique amongst Scottish castles, the story here leads you from Mary Queen of Scot's visit to the Civil War, and from the Jacobite cause to Queen Victoria's famous stay which led to the creation of Europe's only surviving private army, the Atholl Highlanders. Over 700 years of Scottish history are on display across 30 rooms. Highlights of the castle tour include the Baronial Entrance Hall, featuring weapons used at the Battle of Culloden; the classic Georgian styling of the Picture Staircase; the grandeur of the State Dining Room and Drawing Room; and the magnificent Ballroom, bedecked in hundreds of antlers. The Castle sits at the hub of a breathtaking historic landscape and the gardens and grounds feature a 9 acre walled garden, a peaceful wooded grove, a ruined kirk, a red deer park and a whimsical Gothic folly.
