What an exhilarating week on our Day Skipper course. Absolutely fabulous instructor Amy (Sail with Amy). Great teaching, wonderful cook & fantastic fun. Couldn't have asked for more. Sailed from Largs to Tarbet (at night), then to Tighnabruich to Inverkip & back to Largs. And we passed! Can't wait to get out again.

Absolutely brilliant week of yachting with Amy as our fantastic instructor. Amy immediately put us at ease and made the week so enjoyable, with her charismatic personality, great food menu and of course her evident yachting knowledge and competencies. This was the most fantastic course I have ever completed and whilst the sailing was hard work and there was so much to learn, the beautiful scenery and fantastic company made it completely worth it. Amy (Sail With Amy) was the most fantastic instructor; hugely experienced and had a lovely way of making learning fun at the same time as challenging as she helped to build knowledge and skills. As a massive bonus, the all female crew were amazing and I have made some very special friends. I will 100% be back!

It was a fantastic week. I loved every minute of it. Our instructor - Amy was absolutely brilliant. She was very informative, excellent communicator, a calm, patient teacher with such a broad range of knowledge and skills. Amy encouraged each and every one of the crew. I have just returned home from the West Coast of Scotland, after spending 5 days on Yacht In Tuition, doing the Coastal Skipper Course. The boat was immaculately prepared and presented. And the week provided a great opportunity to sail in challenging conditions, including that important tidal factor. Amy ran the course for the first 3 days, focusing on passage planning and execution. Her energy, enthusiasm, and guidance were so valuable in developing these skills. Dan ran the course for the next 2 days, focusing on a vast array of boat handling skills. Dan coached in a very calm and highly knowledgeable way. His constant stream of good advice and tips are a rich source of learning, that will help all of us be better sailors moving forward. We quickly and successfully bonded as a crew. Close teamwork was essential for the "Gang of Four!" And we all successfully "got our ticket".
