We had a great time on the Black River with ARO. Our guide was Larry. Larry is awesome! His enthusiasm and love of the river shines through. He kept us informed every step of the way and we felt very comfortable with him. We would definitely raft with ARO again and we highly recommend them. So much fun!!!

OMG where do I start? What a fantastic company to white water raft with. They are so efficient. They are safety conscience. Our family had 15 people rafting. We took up two rafts. Ace went over all the necessary precautions enroute to the launch site. Cody was our guide on the water. He's been with ARO for eight years and very knowledgable. Lunch was delicious and nutritious. We were with ARO from 9am to 3pm. Got a lot of great pictures of the family and some souvenier sweatshirts to boot. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM to anyone wanting to white water raft in the Adirondacks. Can't thank Dylan and his team for a fabulous day we will always remember.

I have been reserving with ARO for several years. I bring large Boy Scout groups and ARO is always able to accommodate us with no issue at all. Their prices are fair and their staff is incredible. They pay special attention to safety and make the trip fun for the scouts. I would highly recommend them to handle your group trips. Will definitely be reserving for next season!

What a fantastic day on the Black River with my beautiful friends. Matt was our guide, he was well experienced and phenomenally fun. It was so exciting and the scenery was spectacular. We spent about 100 CAN each for our ticket (weekday), and it was well worth the money. We went up for the day and did the morning 3 1/2 hour trip.

We went white water rafting for the 1st time and had a blast. Highly recommend going at least once with this company. Our guide Alan was amazing! Very knowledgeable and skilled! Also very personable and walked us through every step of the way. Can't say enough good about this company and our fantastic experience

I was able to enjoy my 2nd ever rafting trip this past weekend. Our guide was Steve, and he was just awesome. With the water being so much higher than normal, he was still able to make our trip fun and exciting, safe, and did I say fun???? I would highly recommend this group to anybody looking for a great way to enjoy our beautiful Black River, and Steve will make it the best rafting trip you will ever have!

He is a wonderful person and he will make sure that you get the most of the activity as much as you can tolerate it. The was our first time ever going. Myself my husband and our 14 year old son. I'm glad we chose this place. The people have a great sense of humor. I would highly recommend Matt as your guide. He has been there 15 years and really knows what he's doing. When we go again we will be requesting him. He also directed us to a great little place just down the road to eat. Amazing! Thank you so much to everyone for making our first experience AMAZING and rememberable.

Such a great time! Wonderful guides; we had Alan B., and it was just so fun! The guides skill, and customer service is top notch. Love that you start right out back, so there's only the one bus trip after, and the beers at the end were fun too! Lots of great rapids and good times. Will definitely come back and choose this company again!

These guys do an incredible job of guiding you through an exciting trip down the Black River, a real gem in the area! They do a great job explaining the dos and don'ts and going over safety protocols and at the end of the day just a fun and energetic group of guys who love what they're doing. We had a young guide named Dylan who was very knowledgeable and capable guide. My son and I had an absolute blast! Well worth the money
