Rawr means I love you in dinosaur
Took my small children (5 and 2) to this museum. Was a little nervous because they are little wild! But the space was great and large enough for them to respectfully run around a bit. Ran into the owner in there and he was excited to see them! He talked to us for awhile and made my children feel important. We also did the Udig portion. Couldn’t get the kids out of there! They were a little dirty after but it was worth seeing them learn in a hands on experience. Didn’t get a lot of pictures, we were too busy enjoying the exhibits. But we did a picture of this cool sand table that you could make volcanos and water and dinosaurs in. 12/10 would recommend for all ages and families.

BEST TIME EVER AT THE INDIANA DINOSAUR MUSEUM
We had such an amazing experience at the dinosaur museum! My kids, 6, 4, and 18 months all loved the dinosaurs and especially the U-dig! For 10 bucks each kid, they got to dig in the dirt, tire themselves out, and keep the fossil they found! We ended up purchasing a family membership. $300 for a yearly membership PLUS discounts on everything we purchase from the gift shop, Cafe, restaurant (its not open yet, but we are so going when it does), and the farms store. The salsa grande from South bend farms is FIRE!

    A one time thing
The day was enjoyable but VERY expensive. If you wanted to dig in the sand for a fossil, it was extra. Paid for a combo ticket but the chocolate factory was not in production yet so not too exciting. Glad we got to see it. 7yo enjoyed it but doubt I would go back.

The Best Family Entertainment in South Bend/Michiana
Had such a wonderful time. I didn't realize that my family and I would learn so much about life, where we come from and how we are all interconnected. There were some of the most amazing hands on experiences including U Dig, Interactive Sand, and the Tree of Life. This place has it all!!! Trails, goats, snakes, turtles, Cayman, and Buffalos!!!! Did I mention that they have the most delicious food as well at the Cafe! The chocolate is divine! We are planning to spend much more time at this gem of an attraction!

Looking for family friendly fun stop by the Indiana Dinosaur Museum!
I took my family to the Indiana Dinosaur Museum on their grand opening and my family loved it. Not only is it a neat place to visit and learn the history of chocolate but it was also very informative on dinosaurs. My daughter loved the U-dig where you are able to dig for your own fossils. She found about 10 different fossils and still wanted to keep digging for more! My husband really enjoyed walking the trails in the continental divide park. He is a nature lover we plan on coming back this time for a walk with the pups to enjoy. Btw the staff are very lovely people and always eager to help make your experience more enjoyable. Don't forget to grab an ice cream after you walk the continental divide.

    Impressive
Very impressive and very informative. Well worth the money. I love having a place like this so close to home. Not only is the dinosaur side awesome but the chocolate museum is just as cool. This property has so much to offer including a full service chocolate cafe, walking trails, South Bend Farms, and a restaurant that is getting ready to open. Can’t wait to back!

A must see in South Bend, Indiana
What a wonderful addition to the South Bend, Indiana area. My family had a blast and spent the day exploring the 2 museums (dinosaur and chocolate museum), walked the trails, visited the bison. The chocolate is excellent and they have ice cream and delicious coffee and sandwiches at the cafe. Fantastic family day or just go yourself and explore. Looking forward to many visits!

    Amazing attractoon
Our experience was just so amazing… both the Dinosaur And Chocolate Museums were very educational and fascinating! My kids ( older teens) just loved it. The walk back to the Continental Divide was so nice. You can see the airplanes fly right over you and view the South Bend city scape as well as downtown South Bend. It’s a walk from there to see the buffaloes so I’ll come back on weekends to take a wagon ride back to the prairie where the Buffalo 🦬 roam. Picnic tables throughout the 90 acre property. People are welcome to walk the prairie trails after closing … great place to bring your dog! Such a great addition to South Bend!

Love tiring out the kids here!
My wife and I went to check it out first before we brought our kids. Just now getting to review. We love this place! We purchased the family membership because our kids just keep begging to go all the time! Well worth the price if you ask me. $300 and we've gone 8 times already. They opened in mid-July. The kids have so much fun! They love getting dirty (and tired out) in the U-dig. I'm going to have to build a cabinet just for the fossils they keep bringing home.

Great (and growing) museum and family attraction. Lots of things to see and do for multiple age ranges!
What an absolute amazing afternoon at Indiana Dinosaur Museum!!! By chance we met the curator and founder of the museum, Mark Tarner. Mark spent 10-15 with our little group sharing stories. Mark also gifted my son a Megaldon shark tooth fossil. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Facility is impressive!! Fabulous way to spend the day with family in South Bend. PS Chocolate tastes fantastic!!!
