Amazing museum - especially if are fond of Tiffany glass
Although it is a museum of American Art - I would estimate that approx 90% of it is Tiffany. I would not have known that if I hadn’t been told by a friend who lives in the area. I am a big fan of Tiffany. What an amazing collection. Not only is it the lamps that many folks associate with Tiffany, it also large windows and other pieces. There are sections of Tiffany’s actual home with stained glass structures and embellishments. The most amazing Tiffany piece by far (in my opinion) - the Chapel that was built for the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair. My husband and I spent over 2 hours at the museum and could have spent more time if we read everything ! Luckily there are small pamphlets in each of the exhibit halls that explain the pieces, and I took photographs of the large framed placards that explain the exhibited piece along with Tiffany’s life.

The availability of wheelchairs made all the difference
Visiting my sister, who has trouble walking, I hoped to find something to do that would let her get out. The Morse Museum, its outstanding Tiffany collection, and the availability of a wheelchair, made it a natural. We lucked out in that a docent was just beginning a tour of Tiffany glass -- she was as outstanding as the collection. There was so much to see, and my sister bought a Christmas decoration in the shop. A visit well worth it for two hours.

    Extensive Tiffany art collection
If you are a fan of Louis Tiffany’s work, this is a must see. It only cost $12.00 for two to get in, and there is an impressive variety of vases, lamps, windows, and architectural elements to admire. Helpful literature is available at each gallery to help you understand better what you are seeing, and there’s a cell phone audio tour option. Don’t miss the Chapel…gorgeous!

A Surpising Stop In Downtown Winter Park Florida
This is not a huge art exhibition site...which makes it a fairly quick tour. There are several exhibits to see, but the accent is on the work of Louis Comfort Tiffany. The Tiffany works are superb, and the docents are unusually knowledgeable. One of their other highlighted exhibits is a Christian chapel with a long history and a fantastic assembly of traditional pieces plus a host of mosaic tiles and the most dramatic overheard multi-dimensional cross. It is well worth your time and only a few dollars.

    Must-see.....
Coming here continues to be a top priority, whenever we visit Orlando. This December we stopped in twice, both times being on a Friday evening; when enjoying the artistry was augmented by live harp and harp/flute accompanyament. The assembled beauty and craftmanship here provides a soothing aesthetic uplift; and a testament to the finer aspirations of the human spirit. Not only is one confronted by the realized creativity presented; but also by the inspiration that others strived to preserve it. We enjoy browsing the exhibits, gathering new information and immersing ourselves in some our favorite stained glass creations. We once again are looking forward to our next journey to the area, and a visit or two back here. If one is anywhere near this location; the Morse is definitely a "must-see" destination.

    Magnificent artwork by Tiffany
This place is amazing! Beautiful stained glass windows and magnificent lamps. So happy that those awesome pieces of art were saved and can now be enjoyed by all. We were sad we didn't get to have a tour with one of the amazing volunteers, we just overhead the end of one tour...and it seemed great! The chapel is truly breathtaking! My mother was so moved that she cried...

    Breathtaking!
This is a collection of Tiffany artifacts that staggers the imagination. Most people have heard of fancy "Tiffany Lamps" but this museum really shows off the skill and craftsmanshift of the Tiffany company. It's small but a real gem that everyone needs to see and admire.

    MUST Do in Winter Park
Amazing - this is a MUST do experience in Winter Park. $5 admission, free parking (we circled full parking garage - and pulled out to find a stop at museum parking. Do not miss the Tiffany chapel - Gorgeous Tiffany glass everywhere we looked. Also art pottery similar to Rookwood.

Hidden gem filled with magnificent art
This was a lovely hidden gem, although I am sure it is well known locally. After 4 p.m. on a Friday admission is free. The staff was very kind and suggested we watch the introductory films prior to signing in so that we could get free admission! There were two films and they were quite interesting and well done. The collection of Tiffany glass is extraordinary. There are not only lamps and vases but exquisite panes of glass from the size of a wall to the size of a window depicting flowers, animals and women in glorious gradients of color. There are also rooms of Tiffany’s estate that were salvaged and recreated in the museum. Each gallery room has free and detailed pamphlets, plus there is a free cell phone based audio guide. No backpacks, but I was able to carry a small purse sized backpack without question (I held it in my hand instead of on my back).

    Little Known First-Class Museum
This was my third visit to this fabulous collection of Tiffany glass lamps and murals. They say it is the largest collection in the country. What I like the most about the museum is it size. While it may be the largest collection, it is concentrated so the museum can be viewed in a leisurely two hours. On one trip I took a tour and the docent was excellent. I was particularly interested in the fact that Tiffany had a cadre of women designers--particularly Clara Driscoll who it seems designed quite a few of his most popular lamps including the Dragonfly lamp. I highly recommend the museum and the town of Winter Park in general. Just outside the museum's doors are scores of fine restaurants and a lovely park in which to stroll. Also save some time to visit the museum's gift shop. I've purchased many gifts for myself and friends over the years. Enjoy.
