Crew members were very intelligent and informative they made the boat and customers feel safe and confident. They created a safe environment while providing the freedom to enjoy your own adventure or be guided. Had a great time, and enjoyed the whole experience

Schwenke, Jeanie, and the rest of the crew were wonderful. Everyone was very professional, courteous, and made you feel very comfortable in the water. This was my first dive post-certification and my first dive in the Florida Keys. I'm so glad it was with Better Than Most Scuba. Highly recommended!

My 13-year old son is in the process of getting certified back home and wanted a chance to scuba while we were in the Keys. Since there are a ton of scuba shops everywhere, I checked Trip Advisor for recommendations near Marathon where we were staying. Our experience with Schwenke was spot on with all of the positive reviews I read beforehand. My son had a fabulous time and was in good hands. We will definitely return for our next trip to the Keys!

Swanke and Jeannie, the owners of Better Than Most, are absolutely fantastic and are great people! We had a couple of cancellations due to bad weather but while we were in the FL Keys, they made sure to make time to take my dive partner and I out to catch lobsters one nice afternoon even though they were not able to get others to meet the minimum number of divers they usually need to go out. I also had an equipment malfunction with my BCD and was provided with a free temporary replacement so that I could dive. They didn’t have to do what they did but were kind enough to make sure we got out and had a great time while we were in the Keys. This was the second time we went out with BTM and will definitely be repeat customers when back in the Keys!

We dove with Better than Most in March 2024. The crew was very friendly and helpful, while being conscientious about safety. We weren’t sure what to expect from the dive sites and we were very pleasantly surprised by the diversity and abundance of life. Big schools of fish, tons of morays, and turtles spotted on both days. We had a great time and when we come back to Marathon we will definitely dive with Better Than Most again. Shout out to S cubed!

We had a large group of mixed snorkelers, new divers, and certified divers ages 14-43. The crew was extremely attentive, gave clear instructions, and were just a blast to hang with for the day. The experience was amazing. Will go out with them anytime! Go as a stranger and leave feeling like family. I would recommend to anyone. They make you feel very comfortable and safe.

Captains Jeannie and Schwenke are so much fun, extremely knowledgeable about the flora and fauna to be found and go out of their way to make your experience unforgettable. This was the first blue water dive for one of us and the first time back under water for the other after nearly 18 years.
