My Husband & I had an amazing time on the Bluewater adventure, catamaran aka Craigcat guided tour. We did it 2 years ago and had a Great time. This time was e en better, Ralph was an awesome tour guide, he would make stops along the way to explain different things we saw along the way. He gave us a chance to race each other with the Craigcats. An awesome experience!! Thanks Ralph!

After seeing pictures and videos from our friends who took this tour last year it was on the top of our bucket list for our trip to the keys this year. From our first phone call Tom was very informative and assured us that if the seas were rough we were under no obligation to go. The night before our planned departure he wisely advised us to push our tour out one day. So glad he did. Though still a bit windy the sun was shining and the water was beautiful. High temp for the day was 70-75. Our tour guide, Ralph, was energetic and very helpful. Hubby is bit afraid (terrified really) of the water but Ralph helped him aboard and put him at ease. After just a few minutes of practice near the dock we were off on our adventure through the mangroves and gulf waters. One of our boats had a steering issue but after a quick trip back to the dock to fix we carried on through the mangroves, past abandoned boats, luxury homes and under a bridge to the ocean side. Ralph stopped us periodically to give us area details. Back on the gulf side we got to "race." We were all winners because we got to play on the water on a beautiful day! Because of our bit of technical difficulty Ralph gave us an extra half hour. Be warned. You MAY get wet. Your feet will definitely get wet. Ralph gave us great instruction to ride any large waves to the side of the boat. The first time a big boat passed hubby got excited, forget which was the throttle and which was for steering and turned straight into the wave. Just as Ralph predicted we got SOAKED! Yes, the water was cold but we laughed and laughed as I was assured that hubby wouldn't do that again - until he did (only once more)! The boat has a small bin behind the seats to stash a towel. Bring one! The tour is rather pricey but so fun and amazing views! In spite of the price I would do it again and highly recommend Bluewater Adventure!

We went out for the noon tour today with Ralph and it was great! The weather was a tad chilly but the fun and excitement of the trip kept us plenty distracted from being cold. Ralph was a terrific guide who has a very fun and nice personality. And the big bonus: we followed a group of 5 dolphins for quite some time...very spectacular to see and experience.

The mini catamaran tour is a great trip for 80 year old novices like me and younger more experienced boaters. Ralph our guide was terrific. He was patient and knowledgeable. He was able to solve a steering problem one of the couples had, and all of us were able to finish the tour.

Great experience from beginning to end. Tom answered our questions, gave us great instructions, and guided us on a beautiful tour. We had a windy day but that just added to the adventure! Boats in great shape too. Highly recommend!!!

I highly recommend this catamaran adventure. Tom was an excellent tour guide. He brought us all around islamorada for two hours, briefly stopping every so often explaining the history of the keys and our surroundings. We even saw a school of dolphins! Thank you Tom! Shoutout Long Island

We had a blast with our guide Tom on the two-hour catamaran tour. Went through mangroves, into the bay and even out to a sandbar in the Atlantic. Boats are very easy to drive and so much fun. Tom was a great guide and also gives you a bit of a history lesson on the Keys along the way. Highly recommend you do this tour.

Had a great time operating the powered cat. we would definitely do it again. It was fun. the guide gave us a complete safety briefing, followed by a checkout of the controls, and basic layout of the watercraft. I found it easy to drive, it handled swells well, and was fairly fast. We were given a tour of the mangroves, and saw a few birds.

This 2 hour tour was so much fun. We are an older couple and felt very comfortable on the 2 person catamaran; it was very stable. Our guide was very helpful getting us on and off the dock. We wore regular day clothes and got splashed but not soaked; our feet got wet. The boat was fairly easy to drive; the steering was different from what we’re used to but it took just a minute to get the hang of it. The guide was very good, pointing out and explaining many interesting things along the way. We enjoyed being up close to the mangroves and so close to the water. We picked up some nice speed in the open water. We plan to do this again next year when we come back.

We took the tour in the two seat catamaran and it was great! The boats are really fun to drive and very stable even in light chop. We were lucky enough to see dolphin and manatees during our two hour tour. The best part, however, was our guide Ralph! He is a lifelong Islamorada resident and his personality, local knowledge and attention to detail made our trip incredible! Thank you,Ralph, for a wonderful excursion!
