As per our guide Miss T's information , it was built around 1690 by a Chinese ethnic group fu kien ( from South China) for congregation purposes. Later it was dedicated to their Goddesses Thein Hou( the Goddess of sea) , Mazu who protected sailors from danger. It is located 46 Tan fu street old city Hoi an. The courtyard had magnificent murals, cultural relics, bright paintings, and dragon figures. I liked it.

Wonderful and calm tones of gorgeous pottery decorations and sophisticated wooden pieces were unable to see. Spend a quiet time in the fountains and gardens of the courtyard and imagine the life of the old Ho Chi Minh merchants. It was even more special to visit in the afternoon............................

It is said to be the largest gathering place among overseas Chinese in Vietnam. The interior is decorated with red and yellow primary colors and is dedicated to the Virgin of Heaven worshipped in Fujian Province. The central altar in the back contains the seated statues of the patriarchs of the six families that came to Hoi An in the 17th century.

I thoroughly enjoyed by visit to Phuc Kien. It is right in the ancient town and represents a serene oasis. If possible, I would recommend going with a guide who can provide information about the site. I loved the many bonsai trees and the small statues. A very nice place to visit.

Fujian Society Hall was established in the early years, and it was larger in scale, which was the venue for the Fujian Society gathering. Around the 17th century, the temple was built, and in the 16th year (in 1751), the temple was converted into a temple. Subsequently, the Fukuoka Society Hall became a temple to worship Mother Mother God, the goddess Mother Mother is alive and loving. There is a long passage to a ceiling behind the door, with a pool view in the ceiling and flowers. On the front of the two-storey floor is sculpted a lot, the upper floor is written "Golden Mountain Temple", the lower floor is written "Fujian Convention Hall", and behind it is written "Sky Palace" and "Friends of me", etc. In it is worshipped the Mother of the Goddess with the "Great Mother of the Chen" pencil.
