We had a lovely afternoon trek with the alpacas today. We had the pleasure of walking the adorable Ozzy & Mac who were so well behaved. The staff working were so nice and welcoming and were more than happy to answer any questions anyone had. They took us through the woods, down to the beach where we had some group pictures and took some time for the alpacas to paddle in the water. After the trek (which was approx 45 mins), we were invited into another field of more alpacas (baby ones included) to feed the adult alpacas some carrots. After we had finished with the alpacas we were taken into the tent where we were provided with hand sanitizer and toilets were also available to use. Can’t wait to return!

We had a fantastic time with the alpacas! We opted for the trek and our kids (11 and 8) were effectively free of charge but they still got to lead the alpacas and feed them and the donkeys. We totally lucked out with the weather and being on the beach leading an alpaca was so cool! Brilliant host and wonderful place.

This was the absolute highlight of our holiday. The alpacas are adorable and are kept in excellent conditions. The young lady who guided our trek was knowledgeable, friendly and the alpacas were obviously fond of her. The walk through the woods and down to the beach was fabulous - seeing the baby alpacas was also a rare treat. Thank you

I had started to watch Outlander series 7 and loved seeing the beach in the opening credits as it reminded me of when I visited John Muir Alpacas and couple of years ago and the Outlander crew were there filming. 2 days later, it’s my birthday and my husband and daughter planned a surprise visit to John Muir Alpacas to visit my wee furry pals. I was delighted and have been raving about the place since my first visit! We took Mr Darcy, Boris and Ouzo for a trek and had the best time then met little Rioja the baby who was only a day old, born last night ❤️🦙🦙🦙❤️ Can’t recommend this experience enough, you can even get married there as they have the most amazing teepees and gypsy caravan. Has the best day and my husband is even more worried that I want my own alpaca farm now.

We had a fantastic time with at John Muir Alpacas, our host was very knowledgeable about alpacas (and donkeys!), she told us all about them while we walked and stopped for photos. We can’t recommend JohnMuir Alpacas highly enough, if you get the chance to go, make sure you do, it’s a lovely way to spend the day!

A lovely experience, a nice walk and very strong personalities among the alpacas. Began with a walk round with the male alpacas to the beach, followed by feeding for some of the females and young alpacas and donkeys. A calming but very fun experience! PS, Sabre is the best Alpacca :)

We heard about this fabulous place from a friend. It was honestly one of the nicest things I’ve ever done. Jenn our host was so friendly and made everyone feel comfortable. The alpacas are gorgeous and obviously very loved and well cared for. The grounds are well kept and just beautiful for a mini trek. They also offer a longer trek if you’re able and that can also been booked online. It was just wonderful. So much so, that I plan on booking again for next week to surprise another friend on her birthday! Would definitely recommend and you won’t be disappointed.

Walking the alpacas was so much fun and the girls were very knowledgable. It was lovely they knew who everyone was and could tell us the age and things about each alpaca. Watching the alpacas in the water was amazing. Feeding the donkays was definitely a highlights. Absolutely loved Bella, Bonnie and Nutmeg. Storm was so cool, we'll definitely be back 😁

Our 2nd time. We will always come whenever we are in the area. Dad got his mate Dave, Mum had Ouzo and I had Boris. We had a beautiful walk through the trees, onto the beach, paddled in the water and back for 🥕. We met the donkeys, mummy's and babies. Thanks Jen for all your hard work your animals are a blessing to us all. You offer so much on site. Tips and facilities are great.

We arrived via walking the John Muir trail, and it was a little out of the way but worth it! Jen was accommodating and let us have an alpaca "walkies" where we met males, females, babies, and their rescue donkeys. We did the mini walk, and it was fun. These animals are adorable and expressive. Unique experience. I just wish there was a gift shop because we would have bought a lot!
