Top sight in Porto - breath taking
One of the best 12 euros ever spent visiting a 'sight'. Just amazing. Interesting history and glorious architecture. In awe at the flooring and domed ceiling. The Arab room takes your breath away. Don't miss this.

The visit we liked the most in Porto
It is worth every one of the €12 entrance fee. The building is spectacular and surprising, and thanks to the guide's explanations you can appreciate all the details. As we went during the low season, it was not necessary to get tickets in advance. The visit lasts about 45 minutes.

The quintessence of European craftsmanship from the 19th and 20th centuries.
A guided tour imposed as an excuse for an exorbitant price (like all the prices in Porto) but what beauty! ! The European craftsmanship was truly marvelous! A pleasure for the eyes and for the soul! The Moorish room is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen (and I have traveled a lot). So, too bad for the price: let's stock up on Beauty while we still have access to it and it still exists!

If you love visiting palaces, you can't miss it!!!
Some rooms are spectacular and majestic. If you love visiting palaces, you can't miss it. If you are not a big fan of visiting palaces, keep reading and decide if it is worth the visit. It includes a guided tour, which is very interesting because of the history of some rooms and the way they were built, which is quite curious in some of them. It is enjoyable because the visit is not very long, about 40 minutes. The price of €12 per person seems coherent to me, taking into account that it is a very large and exclusive palace and therefore, it is obviously much more expensive to maintain than other smaller buildings.

    Well worth the admission
Once we had worked out the booking system for the tours we awaited our guide in the amazing internal courtyard. Around the roof are the flags and emblems of the countries that portugal traded with at the time it was built. The tour was interested and took us through a number of lovely rooms that have been used as a court and places for all manor of business deals. The real stunner is kept for the end. The lavishly decorated golden Arab room is just one of those places that is a must see if you are in the area. Our guide was knowledgable and gave us plenty of good information.

Interesting building but with a very quick and expensive half-hour guided tour.
It is worth visiting this building. It is with a guided tour. As a downside, I would put the price (12 euros). It is a half-hour visit where the guide went very quickly and at the end he was already looking at the clock. Nice and interesting building but very quick visit for the price. Very expensive

    Spectacular Arabic room
In neoclassical style, it was built between 1842 and 1910 on land donated by the Queen to the Mercantile Company, where the old Franciscan convent once stood. The tour, mandatory with a guide, begins in the patio of the nations. On the cornice are depicted the coats of arms of the countries that had commercial relations with Portugal in the 19th century, including Italy. The construction work on the palace lasted approximately sixty years, forty of which were necessary to create the noble staircase from three enormous blocks of granite. The visit continues on the first floor, moving from room to room. From the one that houses the portraits of the Presidents of the Mercantile Company to that of the Court. From the one that houses the reproduction of Gustave Eiffel's office to that of the Portuguese Royals. The walk ends in the splendid Arab Hall, inspired by the rooms of the Alhambra in Granada, it is finely decorated in Moorish style with polychrome stuccoes and arabesques.

Great place - booking system a bit bizarre
Definitely worth a visit. The 30 minute guided tour was interesting. Go early in the day to avoid large queues. There are tours in 4 different languages and you can see the timings on the screen inside which will show the next tour's capacity and language. Palacio da Bolsa's website doesn't seem to have online booking.

    Highly recommended
Building designed for the greatness of the city. The main staircase is impressive and special mention is made of the Arab Hall, a replica of the Alhambra in Granada. Book in advance, the guided tours are mandatory in Portuguese, English, French and Spanish.

Guided tour Interesting, but a little expensive
Visit the Stock Exchange Palace still in operation for the city's commercial players. Very beautiful rooms, obligatory guided tour, possible in different languages (French, English, Spanish), but impossible to book in advance. You have to come, queue and take one of the tours offered on the day's panel, depending on the language and time (French every 30 or 60 minutes in general), for €12/adult. This visit lasts 30 minutes.
