This was a great food tour. Our guide, Zephyr, was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and made the tour fun and entertaining. We tried several sweets before going to a local butcher and cheese shop to get things for our meal. Come hungry. This is plenty of food. We had the most delicious cheeses, excellent meats, and fantastic wine. The little place we had dinner at was so cute and cozy. I highly recommend this tour

This was a fabulous experience with Kabe, who was a knowledgeable Parisian born guide. She took us around Montmarte giving us the opportunity to sample a great and delicious variety of local treats. A wonderful day out. Highly recommend.

Would rate it a 6. Zephyr did a fantastic job educating us with fun and humor about Montmartre area and Paris. Good stops were also very helpful informational!- and delicious 😋. Collecting many of the foods and going to a private location where we could have conversations about foods, ask questions etc was something I hadn’t experienced- provided a great group atmosphere that was much more personal then stopping briefly in a restaurant, eating quickly and moving to next stop. Thank you zephyr!!

Overall this tour was informative and tasty and gave us a chance explore a neighborhood we would have not ventured to on our own, but it didn’t quite meet our expectations. We started with desserts first (assumed that would be last) with a stop at a macaron and chocolate shop (we could try 2 of each), followed by sweet crepes (we each got to pick our fillings that were made fresh - I opted for Biscoff). Totally on board with eating desserts first - but if I had known I would have had a bit later lunch. For the crepes, Be prepared to wait a bit as they are made one by one, however they are worth the wait. Then we ventured to a private dining room where the majority of the experience took place - this was the part that was also a bit unexpected and found peculiar. The private dining room is rented out by the food operator. I assumed like all the other food tour experiences I have had gone on both in Europe and the States that we’d stop at more food stalls and restaurants and markets and sample a dish from each, learn about the owner/chef, etc. , but that was not the case. The majority of the food tour was local charcuterie, cheese and wines. Don’t get me wrong, everything was delicous and learned a lot but was disappointed that we didn’t actually go to more restaurant locations and learn about the food, the restaurant, etc. Also, was pretty hungry based on the pace of the tour and that the “main course” was towards the end of the night. Also was a little concerned about the food hygiene. It would have been nice to have the guide facilitate introductions with those on the tour. I would try a different food group tour next time in Paris.

Louis was our guide & he was extremely entertaining, engaging & clearly loves his city of Paris! We had a fabulous experience & this totally added to our wonderful vacation to France! We highly recommend this secret food tour of Paris!!

Leo was an amazing tour guide and made our experience extra special. The food was amazing (of course), and Leo had a TON of historical knowledge that was very interesting! And he made us feel like no question was a silly question.

Secret Food Tours was the best food tour we have participated in not only Paris but better than any we have been on in other parts of the world! Our tour guide provided information about other places to visit in Paris that would be worth our time! She was a wealth of knowledge about all things Paris! We would definitely do her tour again on future trips to Paris!

This was a great way to learn about the Marais and to better appreciate French cuisine. The tour was very well organized and our guide Nada did a fine job passing on her expert knowledge of the area and the food, all of which was very tasty. At lunch we had time to chat with other group members. It was a very relaxing and pleasant way to spend an afternoon.

We had a lovely time with Margo and Coralie. It was wonderful to spend time with other tourists and learn about Parisian food too. We enjoyed macarons, chocolates, crepes and an assortment of breads, meats and cheeses. Our tour ended with us all sitting down together to enjoy each others company, our food and wine and learn about the regional foods.

Ioana was an amazing tour guide! She was very knowledgeable about where the food and wine came from! Not to mention her bubbly personality made it very fun! The 3 of us toured at 6:00 pm on Oct. 26 and could not have had more fun! Highly recommend Secret food tours and Ioana!!
