    Amazing day!
We had an amazing day! Love how hands on it is, we did guinea pig fishing and anainal handling, we even got to meet the lambs and kids! We got to feed the goats and there was also a newly bord kid we could stroke. Lunch was very nice and the cakes were delicious! Overall, a lovely day out and will be returning!

    Getting better each time
The farm is much improved on when I last visited a year or so ago, with better information and a brighter feel to it. Feels like there are a lot more activities as well. Still think the restaurant is a bit of a let down as it could have some better, higher quality, options

    Wonderful Day Out
My family have just returned from the most wonderful day out at Roves Farm which is an actual working farm. There is so much to do it's hard to pack it all into the visit. Its half term and they are running activities every half hour and you can plan your day because it's all available to see on the activity board as you arrive. We got involved with the music time session which was so much fun, we also fed the animals, brushed the ponies and rabbits, had a bumpy tractor with Ricky who had everyone in fits of laughter with his running commentary and my favourite activity today was animal arithmetic I'm gonna leave you guessing as to what that was you need to visit for yourself and see. After a yummy lunch the children played on the massive indoor play area which has awesome tunnels to play it they call it The Rabbit Warren. Everyone there was so friendly and really engaged with the children. And a bonus is its great value for money. We had a quick visit to their farm shop before we left which includes a butchery and some homemade pies and cakes. Can't recommend enough.

    Hilarious tractor driver
Haven’t been for a while but went with family including a 10 and 12 year old. Even though they were too old for Easter event they still enjoyed the animals, indoor play area and the tractor ride was fantastic. Not sure on the name of the tractor driver but he was so funny it made our day!

    Disappointing.
Disappointing. I expected a lot more for the money to be honest. Nearly £50 got 4 of us & definitely not worth it! I spent the whole 2 hours annoyed at having wasted that much money! Very run down, it needs a lot of money spent on it. Bins overflowing at 10.30 in the morning. Very small, no more than 2 hours needed, 15 minutes of which was stood in the queue to order food at the cafe. When we were there one of the first activities was meeting the goats, naturally it was incredibly busy to start so we held back, eldest daughter is autistic and we tend to avoid the crowds. When we did go over we were then told that the activity had finished and we had to leave the area so they could prepare for the next activity … The discovery wood was closed off, presumably due to how much rain there had been. However, when you’re paying a lot of money for not a lot, to then have part of it closed off is annoying. The ‘paddock’ was rubbish. Barely any animals outside. The cafe was very expensive!! We ordered food to takeaway, charged full price for meals that we didn’t get the sides for - no salad for the baguettes. No beans with nuggets & chips. If it wasn’t for the fact that we were starving & wanted to get out of there I wouldn’t have bothered. The sausage roll however was delicious! The first set of toilets I went in was absolutely disgusting. They were outside near to where you cross the road to go to the paddocks. Rubbish in the corridor, cobwebs, full bin, one of the toilets was blocked. The other toilets were just filthy and had bugs in the cubicle. I went to complain to reception but a long queue of people waiting to come in, and only 1 person at the counter. There were other toilets by the cafe which were much better. The highlight was seeing twin lambs being born. Will not be going back again & would not recommend to others. When you compare to other farm parks, such as the Cotswold farm park, roves farm is really not worth the money or the time.

    Fantastic day out
Currently writing this review whilst sat in the cafe as i don’t feel i can wait until i get home. What a fantastic day the family have had here at Roves farm today. Amazing value for money so much to see and do the play parks inside and out are suitable for children of all ages. Wash stations everywhere to clean hands after freely being able to pet the animals just brilliant. The staff are great our highlight was the tractor ride. Gorgeous food and drink. This was a random day trip which has ended up being the highlight of our weekend.

    Last visit
Have always loved Roves Farm but sadly I think my recent visit will def be the last. I took my two sons aged 1 and 5 and for the three of us to get in and a tractor ride it cost me £35! For what is there, it is def not worth that amount of money. It's a real shame as I remember previous visits and it being affordable but sadly the pricing of the tickets and what is on offer isn't really worth a visit again, especially it being cheaper to visit cotsworld wildlife park.

    Unimpressed
Although they have created a really nice gift shop, which must have been very expensive, I was disappointed that they hadn’t provided more facilities for toddlers, no ball pit, no trampoline and the soft play was old and dated and hardly anything there. There was barely nothing in the sensory area, nothing what interested my 19 month old grandson anyway. I was also disappointed in the food, fat chips kept in a warm tray which were unpleasant and cold, no selection of home made cakes other than a Victoria sandwich cake which was dense and the cream was awful. I am a pensioner and it cost £19 for and a nineteen month old and myself, the cost of the food which we couldn’t eat. It is a great place for older children, but very little to do for young children to. I was very disappointed and the only farm animals we could see in the barn were pigs, everything else was turned out. More money should have been put into updating and catering for the younger children.

Great family friendly day out with lots of interactive sessions!
We love Roves and have signed up for membership at the farm because we visit so often. We've been many times now and our daughter LOVES how interactive the farm is. We always try to go early to avoid the rush and this morning we almost had the whole farm to ourselves! The farm is great value for money with multiple activities and soft play included with the entry fee. The tractor ride is well worth the extra couple of pounds and the driver's commentary is always a giggle for the grown ups especially! I've seen lots of reviews recently saying that it's run down, but I think the reality is that it's a small working family farm. It might not be as glamorous as other similar attractions but it's clean, looked after and clearly loved by a great team of people and we love visiting. Keira in particular stood out today, engaging with my daughter and chatting with me whilst we petted the rabbits and fed the goats. You really can't go wrong at Roves Farm.

    Brilliant Christmas Experience
We visited as part of the Christmas Experience. Driving up to the farm we wondered what we had let ourselves in for not having visited before. However, we need not have worried as the whole day was excellent. Feeding the goats and interaction with the rabbits and guinea pigs was great, seeing the pigs and alpaca was interesting, the Father Christmas trip was excellently done, the inside play area had lots of entertainment and challenges for the children - including the rabbit warren and ride on tractors as well as a large area inside for food and there was an excellent selection of hot and cold food available throughout the day. There was also a craft area for the children which was a good contrast to the running around. The outdoor area was also good even though it had been raining. We stayed for about five and a half hours and struggled to get the children to leave. The staff were all really helpful and friendly. I would really recommend.
Thank you so much for your in-depth review. It really does mean a lot to our team who work very hard to make our Christmas Experience as magical as possible! We hope to welcome you back again soon.
