Absolutely fantastic evening here. I’ve been to a few different scarefest’s this month such as Alton Towers and Xtreme Scream Park -this has been the best. Whilst some of the rooms were not themed/built as well as other locations, overall they were still of a good quality and had more frequent and better quality scares resulting in a much better experience. The actors were great, walking around the venue and scaring/chasing people. The entertainment/shows were great, there was a good choice of food options and an on site bar for a drink in between mazes. We had the 7pm arrival slot on our tickets, the lines to the mazes close at 10:30pm and I very much doubt that would have been enough time to get through all 5 mazes as the queues were very long. When we saw the queues we purchased fast pass for £20 per person covering all 5 mazes which was well worth the money as we got into each maze almost straight away. This could partially have been down to a bad choice of date with it being so close to halloween making it so busy. Will definitely be back next year!

I loved it full stop it was amazing ! The staff were all super friendly and kind ! When I went on the tractor ride, which I’ve forgotten the name to , The instructor Dan “the tractor man” was an amazing host to this ride and made it so magical ! But do be aware you Do get quite wet on this ride but if you come on a sunny day like I did you’ll dry off quite quickly! The only downside to York maze is the prices of the food some is average and some prices are through the roof so I’d recommend to bring some food with you . And there’s no rush to eat before you get in or after you come out because you can leave the park whatever time you need or whatever whatever time you want and come back in whatever time you need and whatever time you want ! The park closes at six so if you get there for around 11:30 you can get the most of it thank you to all the staff at York maze who made such a brilliant experience for my family !

Fantastic night 6 of us had such a great time the actors were scary around outside the maze zones also in the maze. The best maze was the clown zone the mind bending rooms made the entry fee worth it alone . The only gripe is needs more tills on the food court Queues were excessive food was nice but chips a bit soggy pizza very nice just cut down on the tomato puree was a bit over powering ,also the tent needs sides on to combat the wind and rain food went cold really quickly. A big thanks to David events manager for been a great help and to all the staff great night . UTB

From the minute we got there we got jumped out at, insulted and were thrown head first into a night of being terrorised by scare actors! The guy with the puppet kept getting me and the two girls with baseball bats seemed to take a shine to us and torment us all evening! The beers are about average price in York and fast track tickets are definitely worth it as we seemed to get in a lot quicker and miss queues. The scarehouses were fast paced, disorientating and jumpy. Food was lush I had the helmet burger and it was unreal! Will return again next year!

Wow, what a day! I didn't even know about York Maze until I got a Facebook advert, but we will now be going every year as many times as the kids can persuade us! I went with my 3 children aged 6,9 and 11 and there was so much to entertain all of them! It is always so hard to find things that keep a 6 year old girl and an 11 year old boy happy, but this was absolutely perfect. The combination of energetic outdoor adventures with fun shows and little touches like the dressed up characters doing high fives really made it work for a range of ages. Our two boys could not get enough of the water balloon catapaults, and Olivia was brilliant at helping them all on it (she also remembered their names when we saw her again at the Bouncing Pillow which was super impressive!!). They also loved the quad karts and the 'Volcorno', with the 'House of Cornfusions' being a particular highlight (for me as well!). The slides were great for all of them, and the musical maze was so unique and kept them all entertained. 'Crowmania' was brilliantly executed by all of the staff, and a totally different exhibition compared to most family day out places. To finish it all off, the foam party show was excellent, with fantastic energy from all the staff and a proper giggle for all the little ones. We had lunch at the terrace cafe and then a snack at the hot food cafe and they were both really reasonably priced and delicious, which was a suprise given how expensive food usually is on days out! I would really recommend York Maze as a trip for anyone with children from toddlers to teenagers. The staff were all fantastic (not a single exception), with one of the team (Ben) offering to take a photo for me when he noticed I was struggling to do a selfie of us all. A really super find! Thank you to all of the team for a truly memorable day for us all.

Had the most amazing day out at York Maze having not been to the maze probably in 15 years, although I’ve done hallowscream about 5 times. What a day!!! So much to do! Would recommend you get here as early as possible as soon as it opens as we didn’t get here till 1, and we were running around trying to do everything by 6:30pm when they closed! Also the maze and the dessert topped popcorn closes around 3/4pm so be watchful to do that early and don’t leave it till last! Our favourite bits were the tractor ride, filled with puns and dad jokes, we got soaked and had a great laugh and the things that pop out at you. Loved the drop slide in the burlap sack, the volcano slide no good for adults too painful to climb up but the kids didn’t seem to mind, the cobsled was fantastic and hilarious, the cornula 1 race was hilarious and the staff thoroughly threw themselves into it they do so well to make you laugh. We loved the wildflowers! And the crazy mini golf, and the house of illusions was utterly amazing great fun. Lovely little gift shop too. If you have young kids taking part in the water balloon fight activity and the water buckets activity and the foam party would recommend a towel and a change of clothes and waterproof shoes like crocs for example

WHAT A DAY! Today we visited York Maze with our 2 year old! We were overwhelmed with the range of activities along side the maze itself! At 12PM we watched the crazy maze show - it was a giggle for the kids! We could of spent hours on the popcorn pillow, and we must of walked round and round the Jurassic Maze 20 times, such good fun! Crowmania was the highlight of our day - well organised and highly entertaining for kids and adults! Toilet facilities were unbelievably clean, and the staff throughout the full day were so happy, helpful and also spoke to our daughter too, keeping her involved! We took a picnic as usually family attractions charge through the roof for food - however we had a look and it wasn’t badly priced at all! I’d recommend trainers not flip flops, and take a towel as there are activities where you get wet - and maybe a change of clothes. Can’t wait to return, such an amazing day! 100% recommend! Thank you so much for a fun-filled day!

York Corn Maze is one of the best days out we've had in ages. Every attraction was so well thought out and the actors and staff around the venue were great with the kids, throwing in little corn based puns at every opportunity. We spent 8 hours here and we still didn't quite get to see everything, so although entry is pricey, it really is worth your money as there is a lot to do. The foam party at the end was the highlight for the kids. I'd very much recommend taking a towel and change of clothes as there is sand, water and foam here so if they're anything like mine, they're gonna get soaked!

This attraction is one of the best I’ve been to in a long time it had something for everyone. We traveled 3hrs to get there as I had read all about it on Northernblondeabroad Instagram page. It was a busy Saturday but the longest we queued was 20 mins and although the car park was busy inside was so vast you didn’t think it was crowded at all. Crow mania was fantastic a big shout out to Dan. We will definitely return next year as feel we didn’t get to see it all in the time we allocated ourselves. We had sandwiches, drinks etc from the cafe and felt they were a good price.

We visited the York Maze for the first time. Wow, it was fantastic. So many fantastic activities to do for all ages. All well organised with plenty of space. Clean and easy to navigate, except for the Maze! The staff were brilliant, especially on the tractor ride, would highly recommend that ride. A great day had by all. Thank you, we will definitely be back.
