The name says it all: Belo Horizonte, or “beautiful horizon,” has stunning views of surrounding mountains. Six thousand years ago, human footprints were left in the volcanic mud along the shores of Lake Managua. Preserved over centuries, these footprints can be seen at The Museum of Acahualinca in Managua, the capital of Nicaragua. In addition to the footprints and impressive collections of pre-Colombian artifacts in the city's museums, Managua has much more to offer. The Tiscapa Lagoon Natural Reserve is a watery retreat within the city, with bars, shops, ziplines, and a canopy ride with views of downtown.

Set in rugged, mountainous territory in the east, Cuba's fourth largest city is known as the City of Parks. Davenport is a holiday destination in north eastern Polk County that is popular because of its close proximity to the Walt Disney World theme park. While small in size, the town is experiencing rapid growth. Most Davenport tourists stay in this town and spend their time at the major theme parks outside Orlando. Other popular bars include the Happy Hollow Tavern and Boozies Bar & Grill. There are several large shopping centres right outside Davenport in Orlando, Tampa, and Kissimmee. Visit Posner Commons for stores such as Dick’s Sporting Goods, JCPenney, and more. Most of the shopping centres have food courts as well, so they’re a convenient way to spend the day away.

You'll find crashing waves off Cabo's Pacific coast and sheltered, calm water on the Sea of Cortez.
